Was your weekend a wake-up call?
How was your weekend? I hope everyone had a good one and that the folks with a holiday were able to enjoy it. My weekend was ...mixed. I loved the French toast my husband made from scratch. I also love having 1 of my sons home from college. But the heat is my friend. I know I'm not the only person suffering through this heat. But my chronic illness doesn't respond well to heat. Every day turned into a low-energy day. I had a wake-up call. ā°Procrastination is a luxury I no longer have. I have to get things done early in the day if I want to get them done. ā°I can't just wing it and do important tasks whenever. It's time for a routine. Tell us about your weekend - the good, the bad, and the lessons.

@Wendy Carlson Yay, decluttering! You took steps forward instead of standing still. Great catch on the scheduling. I catch myself sometimes saying I'll handle it later, but I just stand still.
Can we start over together?
I'm a newbie Skool Community Owner who wanted to jump in and get this party started! Then real life kicked in when my Dad died. I wasn't prepared to deal with all of the family issues. I wasn't prepared to launch a new community when dealing with so many issues. So the community quickly fizzled. Now that I've addressed the family issues, it's time to rebuild this community so that it offers you the support and interaction that you deserve. I'm working on Version 2.0 and will launch it soon! Let me know what you'd like to see in the new space. I only have one (other) request. Please give the upgrade a chance and let me know what you think. 'If you like it, then share it with your friends.

@Kelli Howard Weekends seem to lend themselves well for handling big blocks of time. During the week, checking off just one thing - even if it's a big thing - doesn't feel as good as checking off 3.

@Wendy Carlson I admire the clear boundaries you've set. You're now my reminder that it can be done!

Tuesday Tip: Consistency isn't built in a day!
If you think you're not consistent, you know that it takes time to fix. Why is it so hard to become consistent? Because you're trying too hard. Are you trying to do all of the things right away? You're trying to exercise, eat better, and post on social media. You're trying to juggle three balls without practicing. You're not focusing. Are you setting your expectations too high? You decide to post on Instagram 3 times every day. You posted three times the first couple of days, but only twice on Saturday. You set the bar too high. How do you start consistency? With one small repeatable task each day. 1. Each day, choose one small sales-readiness task to do the next day. Example: I will make a post in my Skool Community. 2. Do the task first thing, before planning or mindset work. 3. Start a spreadsheet that shows the planned task and how you completed it. 4. Repeat for 7 days. 5. Celebrate your consistency! Post that win here in the Room. 6. Keep going! Join me in the Consistency Challenge! It's easier to succeed when we're supporting each other.
