Advice
I recently obtained this California juniper. All the branches were pointed upwards and I didn’t like the overall profile. This is my first attempt at wiring a tree. Am I headed in the right direction?

Hello everyone. My name is Wences from San Diego, California. I just recently started out but I am most interested in native species from my area. Getting information on them in respect to bonsai possibilities has been challenging. Here is my western sycamore and a young coast live oak.
