🌶️ Faith-Fire Jerk Chicken Pasta
This recipe Started Fed by Faith!!! Cooking with Purpose. Feeding with Love. Why You’ll Love It: This bold and comforting pasta brings island heat balanced with creamy, cheesy goodness — without heavy cream. It’s simple, affordable, and perfect for family dinner or meal prep. Ingredients: 2 large chicken breasts, sliced 2–3 tablespoons jerk sauce (adjust to taste) 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, angel hair, or egg noodles) 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved 1 bell pepper, sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons butter ½ cup shredded mozzarella 2 tablespoons goat cheese (optional but recommended) Salt & pepper to taste Fresh parsley (optional garnish) Instructions: Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water before draining. Season sliced chicken with jerk sauce. Marinate 15–30 minutes if possible (even 10 minutes helps!). In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Add bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. Cook until slightly softened but still vibrant. Reduce heat. Stir in cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water. Add mozzarella and goat cheese. Stir until melted and lightly creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish and serve warm.

Pop Quiz of the week!!
Have you ever noticed how some of the best conversations happen around food? Whether it’s sitting at a kitchen table, sharing a meal after church, or just grabbing a plate with friends… something about breaking bread together makes people open up, laugh, and connect in a deeper way. It actually reminds me of this verse: “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” – Acts 2:46 The early church didn’t just worship together — they ate together, talked together, and built real community. Faith grew in those simple moments around the table. So I’d love to ask you all something… What’s one meal or food that always brings people together in your family or community? And if you could sit down for a meal with anyone from the Bible, who would it be and why? Share in the comments 👇 And if there’s someone you enjoy sharing meals with, tag them and invite them into the conversation. Sometimes the best fellowship starts with something as simple as food and good company. 🍞✨
