Let the Holidays Begin!
Last Saturday we were in the middle of a snow story, but my partner and I still made some time to go see some lights at the Chicago Botanic Garden. We truly enjoyed the experience and although it was very cold, we felt the snow made everything look more beautiful. What is something you like to enjoy with your loved ones during the holiday season?

Fish dinner for the Win!
Today was a hectic day. Did marketing in the am and then had trunk or treat event then finally kids birthday party. At the party pizza and garlic knots were offered. I made sure my eating during the day aligned if I needed to eat but I was able to hold off. I took a bite to see if the slice was worth it but it was more of the doughy kind and I enjoy a crunchy thin crust pizza so I patiently waited and thought of what I could make for dinner. This is what I came up with! Baked Almond-Crusted Fish (cod) Baked baby carrots 1/4 of sweeet plantain baked Roasted garlic [above all on one baking sheet] Cucumber, tomato, scallion, and fresh parsley salad Corn

Sounds like a very hectic day! The plate looks so colorful and balanced. I bet it was a great way to end your day.

A few clients mentioned they’ve been logging meals in MyFitnessPal — and it inspired me to jump back in. I haven’t tracked in about four years, but started again this morning after my workout. Honestly, I love this stuff — seeing protein, fiber, and all the data. Total nutrition nerd here 😄 Also, starting my daily weigh ins and of course tracking my steps. 💯 Who else is tracking right now?
