Thanks Joshua for hosting this light activity. It was very fun to participate in, and I hope there's many more to come. Just a side note from me: Whenever going into a business venture or project, just remember the saying "scared money don't make money." Its important to preserve the capital you already have, but understand that in order to succeed, you need to take risks. And if you lose, thats just another lesson
You're told - 80% of businesses fail in the first year
💸 Google It Yourself, only 20% of Businesses fail. But how do they fail? It’s not because the idea was bad. It’s because they spent too much money. You heard me: Spending money on your business too soon can kill it. 🔥 Enter: Simon Squibb’s $0 Start-Up Test — a simple method to prove your business is needed without spending a single dollar. 💯 Wanna test your idea the smart way? 💡 Here’s how: #1. ✍️ Write a Clear Offer. Make it short, simple, and strong. What are you offering, and who is it for? If it’s confusing, you’re losing. #2. 👥 Find 5 People Who Need It. Real people. Real problems. Ask around — if you can’t find 5 people who want this, it’s not time to build yet. #3. 🎁 Create a Free Preview Version. Before you build anything fancy, give people a taste. A free trial, a sneak peek, a mockup — something that proves value upfront. 🚀 The goal? Prove demand before you invest.💬 Don’t build in silence — test in public.🧠 Don’t assume — validate. You don’t need money to start. You need proof that people care.

Hello Everyone :) My name is Vince Zhang. Im from downtown Toronto, and i'm a 16 year old in my penultimate year in high school. I'm looking to make new connections, find other likeminded youth that want to discuss entreprenuerial topics, and have a great time while growing. I wish to gain insightful comments on my ideas from the consulting services provided by this group, and to be mentored by the best of the best! 😄 Good luck to everyone starting out!
