When I think about kettlebells, I’m amazed by how simple yet powerful they are — there’s something kind of zen about them. It’s all about habits and technique. Since I started using them, I’ve completely lost interest in gym machines.

300 kg is a lot of weight! You couldn’t possibly swing that much in kettlebells! But I’ve realized that training with kettlebells feels very different — the dynamic movement changes everything. The weights aren’t really comparable. For example, doing squats with 100 kg might feel similar to using a 24 kg kettlebell, or maybe two 16s. I say this because when I train with 12 or 16 kg kettlebells in intense workouts, I often feel more muscle burn and lactic acid than when I squat heavy weights.
Wrist pain
Hello @Taco Fleur and community, two months ago, after doing a workout without warming up, I started having pain in my right wrist joint. I did rehabilitation and it still bothers me a bit. I was advised to gradually resume practice, little by little. I would like you to recommend a routine to strengthen wrists and forearms, as well as a mobility and stretching practice. I have never trained forearms and hands before, and now I realize how important it is. Thank you for any comments or suggestions.

Hello, I’m new here. Your books are very good and the support is exceptional. I’ve been practicing for a year now, since I used to lift weights at the gym. It has helped me a lot to improve my physical condition, and it’s a simple yet powerful tool. Now I don’t leave them aside even when I go to the gym; I prefer working with them.
