JAMKAZAM

ANYONE HERE USE "JAMKAZAM". I'm trying to find a relatively reliable way to meet with a small flute ensemble (3 or 4 flutists)

I have tried similar apps, Jamulus, Jacktrip, and Sonobus. They are better than Zoom or Skool calls for audio quality and latency, but there will still be some unavoidable latency. I found that they work alright for improvising, where there's a bit of wiggle room, but it's very important that one person be the rhythm master that everyone follows... and that method works alright for Skool calls. But I have not found a solution for rehearsing long distance for written music. The rhythmic precision required made it not tenable.

What do you want to see in the Flute Forum Classroom or Calendar?

Today @Luke Penella will be going Live again at 12pm CT answering any questions about flutes & flute repair! You can find the replays here. Two of the things that I love about Skool compared to Facebook is that the search function actually works really well and you can put free courses in the classroom that you don't have to log in to access. (You can find some of my favorite Flutarians Improv Games in the Classroom here!) We have so many flute friends who aren't on Facebook, but there are so many great conversations & resources that have been shared there. What resources - or calendar events - would you like to see shared here where you can share them with anyone?
