Joined a long time ago, procrastinated, but now I'm here.
Hey Clief Notes fam! 👋 I'm Victor and I'm stoked to be here. 🙋 A little about me: Just someone looking to learn more. 🎯 My current goal: Setting up some automation tools to help me achieve my goals while keeping myself free for creative work. 💪 What I'm currently building/working on: Setting up a local LLM and workflow on my MacBook. 🤔 My biggest struggle or question right now: What to eventually do in this space. I am not sure I have a solution or service to offer. Let's get it! 🚀

Community Guidelines
This community is large and it moves fast. That's the good part and it's also the problem: valuable posts get buried, the same questions get re-asked instead of found, and spammers show up wherever there's an audience. These guidelines are what keeps the room worth showing up to. Read them once. You won't need them again, because most of this is what you'd do anyway. New here? Start with Jake's welcome post and the Foundation course. This post is about how we behave, not where to begin. 1. Build in public. Post the thing while it's half working. A half-finished build is more useful to everyone else than the polished writeup you'll never get around to, and you'll get corrected before you've spent a week going the wrong way. 2. Teach what you learn. The day you figure something out is the day you're best at explaining it, because you still remember exactly what confused you. A month later you've forgotten the hard part and your explanation gets worse. If you cracked something this week, that's a post. Nobody has to earn the right to ask a question here, but this place only works because people come back and answer them once they can. 3. Ask good questions. Specific beats polite. "How should I structure this?" gets three vague answers. "I have a 40 file client folder, the model keeps loading the wrong context file, here's my CLAUDE.md" gets a real one. Say what you tried, what happened, and what you expected instead. A more in depth guide: https://dontasktoask.com The flip side of this: "Anyone here?", "Help please", and one line questions with no context may get removed. Not to be harsh, but because nobody can answer them. 4. Give credit. If you built on someone's skill, template, folder structure or comment, tag them. It costs you nothing and it's the reason people keep publishing their work here instead of keeping it. A lot of the best material in this community started as somebody's reply on somebody else's post.

Done
Claude isn't a tool. It's a hire you train.
Most people prompt Claude like they're pulling a lever on a vending machine. Input, output, next. Then they wonder why it stays flat. The shift is simple. Treat Claude like a new employee. A collaborator you invested in. Someone you teach how you work, what you care about, what breaks you. Every session becomes an upgrade. The next session feels like Claude shipped a new version. It didn't. You did. I'm chronically dyslexic. Walls of text are invisible to me. I'll scroll past four critical flags and only catch one. So I said it out loud. I told Claude: "I missed three of the four content moments you gave me. I can't read walls." That was the input. Here's what came out of it, written into memory, applied in every session since: Every response ends with a bold decision marker. DECISION, QUESTION, or NO DECISION NEEDED. Content moments go at the top in a dedicated block. Never buried. Max three lines per paragraph. Bullets aggressive. Bold keywords inside sentences so my eyes have skim anchors. Status and decisions never mixed. Skimmable first, decision clean. I didn't get a better model. I taught the model I had. The mechanism Claude has a memory system. User profile, feedback, project context, references. Every correction, every working pattern, every "do this, not that" can be saved to disk and reloaded next session. The weakness becomes the protocol. The friction becomes the fix. The next session opens with it already loaded. That's why it feels like an update. You gave feedback once. It holds forever. The reframe Stop prompting. Start defining how you work. Tell Claude what frustrates you. Tell it what a good response looks like. Tell it your constraints, your context, your weaknesses. Correct it when it misses. Confirm it when it lands. You're not using a tool. You're onboarding a collaborator. The people who get nothing out of Claude are the people who never told it anything. // A<3

I've been saying this. I came into the space with no AI or LLM experience aside from using chatbots for simple task. I've hit the ground running, and i feel like i am progressing rapidly. And I think the biggest reason, is management experience and treating my agents and really any llm like I would employees. Basically less emotional but way more forgetful employees. So you train, coach and supervise.

@Ari Evergreen lol gonna go ahead and shill something I built with exactly that in mind. https://github.com/Suirotciv/Dev-Agent-System.git lightweight coordination layer for AI coding agents. Also meant more so that by themselves they are forgetful af so you got to help them out, like how I used to give my employees planners and wall calendars and whiteboards, or really just broke tasks down into smaller steps for them, when I noticed they struggled remembering things.

Welcome! I'm new here and pretty new to the industry in general. Can I ask about the systems you are going to build? I am curious as I've worked in maintenance, facilities management and have delt with a lot of crappy set ups with systems and procedures in my time in that industry.

@Isaiah Martinez This is pretty good. I'd watch out for compliance. Get some legal/tax advice. I really like the concept.
