My intentions for this weekend is to honor the summer solstice and reflect on what hasn’t worked and create a ritual of letting go and stepping into the new season with love, joy and trust! Continue praying for liberation for all humans specially for Palestine, Congo, Sudan and Cuba as well as the down fall of evil empires!
EQ. The Skill Nobody Taught You That Changes Everything ✨
Hello family 💛 Happy Monday. Hope you had a beautiful weekend and are stepping into the week feeling refreshed and ready. Here is an interesting concept I wanted to share with you to kick the week off. And here is the thing about it. You may have already experienced this in your life but never had a name for it. Sometimes being able to put a name and a definition to something helps us understand it more deeply and actually embody it. For those of you who are empaths or feel things deeply I am sure this is going to resonate. It is not something that gets spoken about much in popular culture. But it should be. The concept is Emotional Intelligence. Also known as EQ. Now you may have heard of IQ. Your intelligence quotient. Which is essentially a measure of how well you can memorise and process information. The standard that western academic and educational systems have long used to measure intelligence. But EQ is something different entirely. And research has shown that when it comes to success in life and in relationships EQ is actually more important than IQ. Let that land for a moment. So what is EQ exactly. Emotional intelligence is your ability to recognise and understand emotions in yourself and in others. And then use that awareness to manage your behaviour and your relationships. There are four pillars to it. The first is self awareness. Being able to identify and label what you are actually feeling in any given moment. The second is self management. Being able to regulate and control those emotions rather than being controlled by them. The third is empathy. Being able to read and understand what other people are feeling and see situations from their perspective. The fourth is relationship management. How effectively you communicate, connect and navigate your interactions with others. And just as importantly with yourself. And here is why this matters so much. Almost every area of your life is touched by EQ. How you handle conflict.

Thank you for this … I do my best to work on each of the pillars and it’s challenging because not everyone around me is aware of the EQ or working on it and that’s ok because my focus is me to be better and serve my community the best way possible.
Karma Is Not What You Think It Is 🔥
Karma Is Not What You Think It Is 🔥 Hello family 💛 Happy Monday. Hope you are having an amazing start to the week and feeling ready to step into it with intention and good energy. I want to share something that came to mind. A foundational concept that always hits deep every single time it is revisited. The topic I want to bring to your attention today is Karma. And I want to be clear. This is not Karma the way popular culture tends to see it. In popular culture Karma is usually looked at through a negative lens. The idea that if someone does something bad it will eventually come back to get them. A kind of cosmic justice system that catches up with people in the end. But I want to offer you a completely different way of seeing it. Because once you see it like this something shifts. And the more you have it at the back of your mind the more intentional and conscious you become with every action you take. Here is what Karma actually means at its root. The word Karma comes from Sanskrit and it simply means action. Karma equals action. That is it. Every action has a consequence. Not from some external judge or cosmic scoreboard. But as a direct and natural result of what you put out. And here is where it gets really interesting. The real consequence of a selfish or unconscious action is not what happens to you from the outside. It is what happens on the inside. The guilt you carry quietly. The anxiety that lingers. The mood that sours. The relationships that suffer. The version of yourself you gradually become through the patterns those actions reinforce over time. That is Karma. Right now. In your daily life. And it is not just the big obvious things. It is the jealousy you feel towards someone doing better than you. The resentment you carry but never say out loud. The subtle ways you try to manipulate situations to protect yourself. The judgements you pass in your own mind about the people around you. None of those need to be spoken for them to affect you.

Gratitude Friday 🙏
Hello family 💛 Happy Friday. Let's end the week with some gratitude. What is one thing you are genuinely grateful for right now. I'll go first. This community and every single one of you who shows up, shares openly and pours into this space. Watching people grow and connect here week after week is something I do not take for granted. I am grateful for Pachamama and the everyday reminder that show me how many wonderful ecosystems exist within ecosystems such as tiny ants, lizards, butterflies, hummingbirds, birds, trees, the sky, the clouds and the rain to name a few. I am grateful for my awareness, my self love and my own ability to choose gratitude on a daily basis!! Positive energy to everyone reading my comment!!

I’m the 13th child of an indoctrinated and religious family. I don’t fit in with them and they still love me and I love them.
