🎥 Quick Business Growth Tip
This morning, we were on a conference call discussing one of our contracts when one of our subcontractors shared something that really caught my attention. One of his colleagues recently secured a contract to provide 500 vans to a large organization. 🤯 It was a great reminder that while we spend a lot of time talking about government contracting, large corporations purchase products and services every day, too. Companies like Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Kaiser Permanente, Disney, and many others have procurement teams and supplier programs that work with small businesses. 💡 Don't limit your business development to one customer. The government is one customer. Large corporations are another. Healthcare systems are another. School districts, universities, counties, cities, and nonprofits all purchase products and services. The lesson? Diversify your customer base. Take some time this week to research the companies you'd love to work with. Visit their supplier or procurement pages, learn about their vendor registration process, and see how your business might fit their needs. The opportunities are often much bigger than we imagine. 💬 Question for the community: If you could win a contract with one company, who would it be and why? Let's hear your answers! #BusinessGrowth #GovernmentContracting #SupplierDiversity #SmallBusiness #Procurement #ThinkBigger

I am going to be doing my first proposal as a consultant!!!
Good news, I spent yesterday sending emails out to potential clients yesterday. I have already had 1 response. Then, a surprise response. I reached out to a construction company about a potential job, just to see the interest level. Today they responded and said they are interested. It feels good to ahve people show an interest. The construction one is one I will really build a relationship with , As I am seeing many jobs I may be able to help him bid in the future. This week I will be calling back following up with the other potential clients. As I was writing this, I had a potential client call. She told me to send over the info ASAP.. She also told me that she has another business > She is actually on the SC procurement site and wants to bid on other jobs. Here's the thing, this lady has been wanting to bid on jobs for 2 years She is so glad I contacted here as a consultant!!
