That was me 4 years ago - I had done a lot of thought work for 2 years prior and still I was entrenched in people pleasing, being a disappointment, and doubting myself and my worth. My nervous system could no longer sustain the tension and I broke.... It was a terrifying place to be - I felt crazy and yet I knew I would be okay - I literally felt like I was floating between 2 worlds. That experience taught me that my nervous system needed safety. It needed space from the "𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝘀", the expectations, the demands of outside systems and I needed to create safety at home. I cleared my calendar of all outside engagements except for 1 event for my kids --- and even though the dark abyss of depression didn't disappear, as I created safety and space for myself, my nervous system slowly began to calm down. It became a season I will call "The Holy NO". As I healed I began to schedule small amounts of time with people I trusted and only for short bursts of time. I began tuning into my body and noticing what needed tended. I slowly learned to tend to myself and stopped expecting others to do it for me. 4 years later, my body still remembers the experiences of that day. This week, even though the calendar is full, I get to choose to tend to those tender parts of me... I am grateful for the wisdom I received in that season and I am so grateful to be on this side of the darkness and experience so much goodness in life - even on the hard days. @Lisa Drennon that's such a good question - I don't remember to much, but I think the first time I really stood up for myself and my family was when we chose to celebrate my son's birthday rather than attending a family event that sent my nervous system into high alert..

I opened The Smell of Money 13 months ago. It was a private money club for 12 OGs who wanted money mindset strategies to build wealth. We exclusively focused on aromatherapy. I set up the Classroom and let the ladies navigate on their own while I was fully immersed in open enrollment (I'm an independent Health, Life, and Annuity broker). In February of 2026, I changed everything. I have to admit, I never focused on growing the community. The audience size didn't matter to me. I cared more about helping the people who were already there get results than chasing a bigger member count. Then I hired a new coach, a team, actually, who gave me a different strategy. It wasn't aligned. I declined folks who released negative energy. Many churned because they wanted to "put their focus elsewhere". Every time I had an increase of numbers, my community would decrease by 20%. But today, when I saw 233 members, I smiled. I LOVE those numbers. 🥰 But what I love even more is watching this community finally become what I wanted it to be—a place where people actually TALK about money, make Money Moves, ask questions, share wins, and figure this stuff out together. And apparently 233 was the little nudge I needed to give you a sneak peek at what I’ve been building behind the scenes. Cash Flow to Wealth For the woman who knows how to earn money but still wonders: “Where the heck did it all go?” 😂 The whole idea came from something I see over and over: You've learned how to make money. Now let's decide what your money needs to do. Cash flow. Debt. Savings. Money decisions. Wealth. Not another course to watch. Six weeks of actually working on YOUR money. And I finally have the new sales page coming together! 💖 I’m sharing a little sneak peek soon because so many of you have watched me build, change, simplify, scrap things 😂 and keep going until it feels RIGHT. When you join The Smell of Money, you'll get to see what we are doing.

Girl, you've built an incredible system. I am so glad I found you and the gift of being #77 is bringing so much clarity around money as we continue working with you! My community grows slowly, and having aligned members is my priority!
You Said "Shoes On" Nicely. Twice. Then You Said It LOUD. 👟
Your day starts with something like "𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴." The first time you said it, you were sweet as pie. The second time, there was a little tension in the jaw. The third time, you swear you heard your mother's voice come out of your mouth. By the fourth time, someone was crying (could've been you), and now everybody's running late. And that's how it goes. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. If you're building a business with kids in the next room, you already know the toughest boss you'll ever manage is three feet tall... or fifteen and not speaking to you. Fortunately, yelling isn't a personality flaw. It's what happens when you're running your family without a system. @Celia Kibler has been handing parents that system for 45+ years. She's a mom, stepmom and grandma, a two-time award-winning author, and she's reached over a million parents. Inside the 𝗕𝗲 𝗔 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗔𝗕, you'll find her Fix It Now Formulas, implementation calls to make them work with your kids, and group coaching for the moments when you just don't know what to do next. Stepparents and grandparents, there's definitely a seat for you here too! Try it free for 7 days. When you're ready, grab the whole year. It costs less than the snacks you bribed them with yesterday. 😉 👉 𝗕𝗲 𝗔 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗔𝗕 What's the one ask in your house that ALWAYS ends in yelling? Shoes? Go brush teeth? 'Get off the iPad'? Drop it below 👇

@Lisa Drennon and then we learn we're not alone and it's a fight in a lot of homes. Literally had a similar conversation with several moms at the game the other night. Moms feel so alone until 2 brave moms choose authenticity and talk about it.
🚦 RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT — LET’S SEE WHAT YOU’VE GOT!
Drop whatever you’re working on below: your one-liner, graphic, CTA, About Page, offer, sales copy… whatever could use a few fresh eyeballs. Then scoot through the comments and help a few other people with theirs. 🔴 RED LIGHT — It’s vague, confusing, missing the hook, or simply isn’t landing yet. 🟡 YELLOW LIGHT — The bones are good, but something is getting in the way. 🟢 GREEN LIGHT — Clear, compelling, and ready to roll! 📋 Having your About Page reviewed? Paste the wording or add screenshots—no links yet. Once you receive two green lights, edit your comment to say: "✅ UPDATED after receiving 2 green lights" ... then you may add your direct link. And remember: give feedback before asking everyone to give it to you. We’re not posting and ghosting around here. 😉 🏆 Last round’s winner is @Jennifer Rassbach from The Guild! Jennifer didn’t just tell people whether she liked something. She explained why it worked, or didn’t, and gave specific feedback they could actually use. She also stuck around for the revisions and helped people take their work from yellow to green. Jennifer wins a 24-hour pinned post, which she can claim anytime within the next 30 days! Every round has a winner. Who’s coming for Jennifer’s traffic-light crown this week? 👑🚦
