Well. I did it. I managed to get into the POISON IVY on the edge of the property where I am developing the Garden For Ability. It might slow me down for a day or two. Yes I knew it was there. Yes I was trying to avoid it. I managed to stick my hand in it anyway in the last bit that I was cleaning up to cardboard and mulch. So, today, I get as much done as I can before the blisters form. Later, I go get a pair of soft gloves to protect the blisters while they are healing. Lesson: Please be careful as you are working and foraging. Know what is in the space where you are working. I knew poison ivy was in the area so I was looking for it and knew I was getting close to it. I got a bit too close yesterday. It could have been much worse if I was not looking for it. It's always an adventure.

OUCH!!! I guess you needed to be slowed down for a couple of days, huh? Sending hugs.
Brag a Bit
I have a refrigerator full of beans. This is about 1 week's harvest off of my tiny bean patch. I have about 5 row feet of Yard Long Beans and about 6 Dragon's tongue plants producing. Both of these are so productive that they are perfect for small spaces. I also grow lettuce and other salad greens under the trellis for the Yard Long Beans. The pan is a 14 inch pizza pan.

OMG I love it!! When I had a garden, I had the beans on a trellis and it was my favorite thing to go outside in the morning and come home with a basket of beans! We ate them all the time AND I canned a bunch of them as well. Your platter looks amazing!
Preserving The Harvest
Here is one of the ways that I supplement my Tiny Gardens. I spent the afternoon harvesting Wild Grapes. I made lots of juice concentrate tins year! For more information and ideas on how to preserve he abundance from your Tiny Garden, foraging, or even great deals that you find, join me for Preserving The Harvest Workshop 2pm Eastern, September 26

What do you do with the concentrate? We just got an abundance of pickles from the food pantry and I made refrigerator pickles. The local apple trees -- which no one seems to think produce actual food -- have gifted us with 20+lbs of fresh apples and I made apple butter and am making apple cider vinegar! I still have a big batch, and I'm going to use it to make apple jelly for the winter.
Playing With Effects
It was amusing to play with the recording effects on Skool today. Personally, I find it distracting. What do you think? Day 5 of the Container Garden Challenge is recorded. I will get it edited and in the classroom in the next day or two.

Fun!! I think it depends on what you want to use the video for.

@Manitu Okahas I think the mismatch was only on your end. I didn't notice it in the recording at all.
Playing With Effects
Just a little play with the recording effects available on Skool. I find it distracting. What do you think?
