Just Accepted in AudioSparx, now what? 😶
Hey everyone, I just completed a small playlist of tracks to submit to music licensing companies and music libraries. So I was able to submit to a few sites like pond 5 and AudioSparx. I'm waiting for my account to be procressed with Pond5 and was I accepted by AudioSparx. Has anyone ever worked with AudioSparx before? Secondly, this submission game is draining. Lol Uploading all the metadata and info. Then you research music sites only to see they aren't acceping music right now. It also eems like a lot of libraries close submissions for the first quarter.

@Tim Jeffcoat oh ok thanks for the input. I've heard that it's very saturated. So I'm definitely submitting to other libraries.

@Glenn Macrae Yes that's definitley my goal to build a portfolio of that size within the year. Focused on gettin quicker at knocking out tracks. Yes, could you please direct me to a resource that would help with the metadata. I signed up for Disco.

@Glenn Macrae Ok, yes I see what you mean. I've been lazily trying to get into sync for the last two years. But now that I'm fully focused, I have taken time to listen to libraries and top songs. And there is "A Sound" so to speak. Also like you said whatever you are pitching to make sure our music fits sonically, stylewise, and has a production music quality mix. So I'm starting to understand that now.

Welcoming Feedback/Artistic Direction
https://s.disco.ac/qnruarphgzmm Hey everyone. I just started composing a 10 track album of emotional piano R&B tracks. I'm extremely new to the sync world, as I am building my catalog. I wanted to work towards my stylistic strengths, so this is definitely my main sound. So I was hoping there is a lane for me to be authentically myself. With saying all of that, here is my 1st track. Once I finish I am going to submit it to stock libraries. Or maybe I can choose my top 5 and send to sync libraries as well. I guess my question is do you hear this solely as stock music, or maybe it could be used for TV/Film? For it to be used for TV/Film, would I need to switch anything up? Sorry for the essay. smh

@Glenn Macrae Thank you very much for listening. Yeah I've been trying to keep an ear out to see what's popular. I see some very genre specific shows have R&B. So I definitely would like to cater to those. However, also diversify my sound. I also do R&B Pop, and or Dancable R&B like MJ, Neyo, Chris Brown, and some light Trap. I think Trap is big in the sports realm. I'm not really a hard Hip Hop or Boom Bap guy
