My credit scores have frozen for the entire month of Jan so far… is that good or not? I’m trying to figure out which letters to send to get some collections off that have obviously been sold and there appears to be double hits… help
Frozen scores aren't necessarily good or bad - they're just not updating. If your scores have been frozen, that means no new information is being reported. For dispute letters, focus on the collections first since those have the biggest impact. Are the collections showing the same debt listed multiple times? That's a good angle for disputing.
For business banking, focus on banks that work well with LLCs and have a track record of funding business credit. Credit unions can be a solid starting point for building relationships. What state are you in? That'll help me point you toward banks that are friendly to your type of business.
The foundation for credit rebuilding is simple: get 1-2 cards, keep utilization under 10%, and never miss a payment. From there you optimize (authorized users, tradelines if it makes sense) and calibrate as you go. What's your current score? That'll help me point you in the right direction.

Welcome Anthony! The key with business structure is making sure your entity is set up properly BEFORE you apply for funding - that means the right entity type, EIN, and banking. The classroom here has good starter info on that. For tracking everything once you're up and running, I built a tool that tracks all your cards and due dates in one place - free trial at stackeasy.ai/start. What type of business are you looking to structure?
Hey Christopher! Hitting 700+ is a solid goal. The path usually involves removing negatives if there are inaccurate items, then building positive payment history with credit cards. What's your current score? And do you have any collections or late payments on your reports? That'll help point you in the right direction.
