Inspiring Youths on a Mission to Success (IYMS) is a nonprofit organization that provides inspiration, motivation, education, mentorship, uplifting, and hope to aspiring youth and young adults. Our goal is to reach the youth at a young age and provide the necessary tools to prepare and equip them for success as they embark on a new journey in the next chapter of their lives after grade school, to the college of choice, military, entrepreneurial endeavors, or other career opportunities. Our mission is to mentor youth and young adults so they will develop healthy habits and healthy mindsets to live a successful life. ā€œIf you can’t fly, then run. if you can’t run, then walk. Are You a ā€œSwag Bagā€ā€¦ or a Key Person of Influence?
4 Mindset Shifts Every High-Performer Must Make (in my opinion) A hard truth Dr. Fraser recently highlighted: Some people are planning for three generations…while others are planning for Saturday night. And that’s the same gap I see when I coach leaders. Many talented people are busy, helpful, skilled — and still invisible. Because they haven’t decided what they want to be known for. That’s the difference between a Swag Bag and a Key Person of Influence (KPI). A swag bag is full of random goodies. A KPI is the one essential solution. Which one are you acting like? Here are the 4 mindset shifts that move you from ā€œbusy but invisibleā€ → ā€œsought-after and essentialā€: 1. Being Helpful Isn’t Enough The ā€œSwag Bagā€ does everything: Many lanes. Many talents. Many directions. But no identity. No core outcome. No message the marketplace can repeat. If you can’t explain what you do in one sentence… the marketplace won’t remember it in one minute. 2. Your Growth Is Your Ceiling Your business, brand, or career cannot outgrow you. No strategy or technique can compensate for a leader who isn’t developing. I shared this previously and I'll say it again: ā€œThe only way to maximize your profits is to maximize yourself.ā€ Experts invest — in their mind, their clarity, their skills and their systems. 3. Focus Creates Influence Becoming a KPI requires deciding: ā€œI’m the one for this.ā€ Caesar, the boxing coach with 19 certifications, grew only after choosing his one idea. One class. One system. One offer. Result? Forty active members on day one. Ideas don’t change your future. Decisions do. 4. Build Systems, Not Just Skill A KPI turns their expertise into: Frameworks. Methods. Language. Solutions that are uncopiable. When your system has a name — your name — you become a category of one. The goal is not more noise. The goal is more relevance. You’re already talented. Already valuable. Already capable. Now the question is: What is the ONE transformational outcome you’re choosing to be known for?

Your Leadership Is Only as Strong as Your Financial Clarity.
Some of the most gifted, experienced, and purpose-driven people are quietly carrying the same battle: their leadership is outpacing their financial clarity. Not income. Not ambition. Not opportunity. Clarity. You can have vision… You can have calling… You can have talent… But if your financial world feels disorganized, reactive, or uncertain, your leadership will always run heavier than it should. This week, take 3 minutes to check in with yourself: 1. What’s strengthening your financial confidence right now? Intentional planning, forecasting, saving, budgeting, discipline — name it. 2. What’s quietly draining your leadership energy? A bill you keep delaying… A decision you haven’t made… A gap you haven’t acknowledged… A number you’ve been avoiding… Unmade financial decisions create more leadership fatigue than long work hours ever will. 3. What area is God nudging you to steward with more intention? Because greater impact always requires greater stewardship. When you get financially clear, something shifts: - Your decisions get sharper - Your strategy gets cleaner - Your confidence gets louder - Your momentum gets easier You don’t need more hustle this week. You need alignment that gives you oxygen. You don’t need to force results. You need clarity that protects your energy. You don’t need to work harder. You need a system that supports the vision God trusted you with. šŸ”„ Your money follows your mindset. šŸ”„ Your outcomes follow your habits. šŸ”„ Your next level requires capacity — not chaos. Question for you: šŸ‘‰šŸ½ What’s one financial decision you know would bring you more peace, clarity, or momentum if you made it this week? Drop it below. Let’s elevate together.

I am catching up. Financial clarity was a large part of my year. Balancing budgets for an organization, understanding the ins and outs for balance, and even assisting a friend seem easy to me. But, doing the gut check for myself, putting the guardrails on my own spending is so hard. I have expressed this so much this past year that I have gotten sick of hearing it on replay. I just needed to do something about it.
Grateful for You and Just to Be Hereā€¼ļø
This week, I’m starting simple: I’m grateful for each of you and the relationships we possess and truly just to be here. Not for the titles. Not for the wins. For breath. For another chance to share space with you and learn. For the gift of today. In a world obsessed with ā€œwhat’s next,ā€ gratitude brings us back to what’s now. In the comments, share ONE thing you’re grateful for that money can’t buy. Let’s fill this space with thankfulness this week!
