About Me...
I’m a 54-year-old professional who’s been homesteading, farming, and ranching for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping my family preserve food, and by the time I was sixteen, I was canning on my own — filling jars with flavor, self-reliance, and a little bit of pride. Since then, I’ve raised three children, weathered a divorce, built a multigenerational home, and now run a 28-acre farm and a handful of small businesses. In 2023, during my fifth battle with cancer, I started Canner’s Anonymous. What began as a way to preserve my recipes for my family — especially my daughter, who has severe dyslexia — quickly grew into something much bigger. I wanted my grandchildren to always be able to find me, even if the unthinkable happened. But I survived — again — and spent the last two years mentoring others alongside an incredible team of admins. Together, we’ve built a community rooted in kindness, honesty, and practical wisdom — not perfection or approval. I’m not a “rebel canner.” I’m a common-sense canner. I trust science and experience. I grow, raise, process, and preserve food with both, creating shelf-stable foods that look, taste, and feel just as good as fresh. Most folks never even realize the meal they’re eating came out of a jar — and that’s exactly the point. Because for me, canning isn’t just about food. It’s about legacy, resilience, and love — sealed one jar at a time.

Farmer, canner, survivor, sipper. Mixing science, sass, and a little cocktail fun to keep life—and jars—preserved. 🍷✨
