I wouldn’t jump straight to splitting your commission. If they canceled just off that, it’s probably more about expectations upfront than the actual deal. I’d reach back out and say something like “Totally understand just to clarify, my seller is open to working with buyer agent compensation depending on the offer. If your client is still interested, we’d love to get you back in.” Keep it open and let them bring an offer first. If it gets serious and that’s the only thing holding it together, then you can consider adjusting but don’t lead with giving up your commission. You still have leverage here
