Touch not my anointed Psalm 105:15, 1 Chronicles 16:22
Touch not My annointed! What does that actually mean? This line gets used to shut people down the moment leadership gets questioned. It's quoted like a warning! DON'T SPEAK! DON'T CHALLENGE! DON'T CORRECT ME! But, that's NOT what the Scripture is about! Psalm 105, speaking about Israel as a people is about God defending His "Covenant People" from harm, not leadership avoiding accountability. Then we see it with David and Saul. David had the chance to kill Saul, the king, who was actively trying to kill him and David refused. Not because Saul was beyond correction, not because Saul was always right, but because David would not take vengeance into his own hands against the one that God had appointed at the time. The fear is God, not man! it's about restraining "PERSONAL REVENGE," not forbidding your corrections! It is about trusting God's judgment, and not silencing the truth! But now, this same phrase gets used to protect leaders from being questioned at all. So now, what is correction is being called rebellion! Discernment is now disrepect! That's not what this Scripture teaches because the same Bible shows leaders being corrected openly, directly and without an apology! So, the question isn't whether someone is "annointed." The question is, "What is the phrase being used to protect?" Because in the Scriptures, being "annointed" never meant being unapproachable. It never meant being uncorrectable! It never meant being untouhable in the sense of lack of accountability. It meant RESPONSIBILITY! So when the phrase is used to shut down the truth, to avoid correction, and to "control" people, instead of "SERVE" them, it is no longer used BIBLICALLY! It is being used as a cowardly shield! The Word of God NEVER gave ANY ONE permission to hide behind it!

Amen. That is good teaching.
Watch your . . .
Watch your thoughts. They become your words. Watch your words. They become your actions. Watch your actions. They become your habits. Watch your habits. They become your character. And your character becomes your destiny. The life you end up living often begins with the thoughts you keep feeding.

This is real. What you let stay in your mind will eventually show up in your life. Guard your thoughts, because they shape everything else. When you feed your mind truth and peace, your actions will follow.
