I've seen a couple of posts here from recent TRE grads looking to build their portfolio... I'm looking to build my referral list of mastering engineers. Preferably in Canada as this is where I'm based but also open to U.S. engineers as I collaborate a lot with U.S. artists. I'm looking for mastering engineers more experienced with Hip Hop or EDM but open to those experienced in rock/metal/punk as I know a few bands. I would also like to connect with engineers that are capable of mastering for CD's, Vinyl's and Cassettes, I know streaming is the new norm, but I find bands like to include those "novelty" items as merch. Hey FTM Peeps. I am almost finished with The Reverse Engineer and working on building up my portfolio and thought I would offer in here. If anyone has any tracks they need mixed or mastered, and are cool with me throwing on my website, I would be thrilled if you would allow me to do that for you. I am open to pretty much any genre. Hey Gang, i'm working on a mix that ill be releasing soon and Ive already done the volume and panning and am moving on to Eq. My question is... where do I start, lol is there a starting point like in the Volume balance part where you start off with the Kick or the Bass or can you start wherever you want. im not letting this delay me tho, ive already started and I don't want to rabbit hole but im wondering for the next time y'know? thank y'all 👍
