Working to get newly purchased (self managed) STR in service by the end of 2025. Do I need 100 hrs AND more hours then anyone else, or just more hours then anyone else? Thanks!

Insurance Roof Replacement and Depreciation
I just had insurance pay for a roof replacement in 2025 on a STR that I had a Cost Seg on in 2023. Can I start a new depreciation schedule on the roof even though I did not pay for it?
