I chose connection because that's how we build our businesses through relationships.
Clarify the Finish Line
Have you ever finished a conversation thinking everyone was on the same page...only to discover later that everyone walked away with a slightly different understanding? Here's one simple leadership practice to try: Before ending a meeting or conversation, ask: “Before we leave, what does success look like from here?” Then listen. Clarity isn't simply saying something clearly. It's making sure you've created shared understanding. 💬 What's one question you use to make sure everyone leaves on the same page?

I like to ask what are our key takeaways and next steps. Also asking who will own the task and follow up with the team. Rotate the ownership so everyone is on the same page.
💬 Connection Thursday: Ask the Community
Sometimes the best next step isn’t another answer. It’s having the right people help you think through the question. So today, I’m opening the conversation to YOU. 💬 What is one leadership question, situation, or challenge you’re currently thinking through? It could be something like: 💜 A conversation you need to have 💜 A team dynamic you’re trying to understand 💜 An expectation you need to clarify 💜 A decision you’re wrestling with 💜 A communication challenge 💜 Something that simply has you wondering, “How would someone else handle this?” Share as much or as little detail as you're comfortable sharing. And, of course, please keep names and identifying information out of the conversation. Then let's do what this community is designed to do: Learn from one another. Ask questions. Share perspectives. Offer encouragement. Help each other think differently. And don't just drop your question. If you see someone else's post and have an experience, perspective, or idea that might help, jump into the conversation. There may not always be one “right” answer. Sometimes another perspective is exactly what helps us see the situation differently. 💬 So, what can this community help you think through today? Bring the question. Let's think through it together. 💜

I trust you will know what is right. Happiness is so important as it affects so many other things in our lives when we aren't happy. 😊

Not worth being unhappy in a job or relationship.
💜 Welcome Wednesday: Welcome a New Perspective
One of the best things about bringing leaders together is realizing that experience changes perspective. Things we once thought leadership meant can look very different after we've had the opportunity to actually lead, learn, make mistakes, navigate challenges, and grow. So for today's Welcome Wednesday, I'd love to hear from you: 💬 What is something leadership has taught you that you didn't understand five years ago? Maybe you've learned that you don't have to have all the answers. Maybe you've discovered the importance of listening, setting boundaries, communicating clearly, trusting others, or simply slowing down before responding. Whatever your lesson, your perspective may be exactly what another leader needs to hear today. Share yours below, and take a moment to respond to someone else's. 💜 Different experiences. Different perspectives. An opportunity to learn from one another.

I have had to learn to slow down and learn from different perspectives. Listen more to understand and being patient with myself. I always wanted the answer immediately and have learned it takes time. One of my bosses used to tell me to "trust the process." He was so right!!!

Momentum Monday: One Small Action
You don’t have to change everything this week. Sometimes creating meaningful change starts with one intentional action. It could be a conversation you need to have. A person you need to check on. A question you need to ask. Something you need to clarify. Or a commitment you need to follow through on. 💬 What is ONE small action you can take this week that could make a meaningful difference? Drop yours below. Then, come back at the end of the week and tell us what happened. One action. One week. One opportunity to make an impact. 💜 https://www.loom.com/share/aeceeec24b024a04b02efddf553f6f35
