Your small leadership challenge this week: Before responding to one difficult situation, ask yourself: What outcome do I actually want? Not: What do I want to say? Not: How do I prove my point? Not: How quickly can I make this problem go away? What outcome do I want? Then choose your response with that outcome in mind. That's your challenge. One situation. One pause.
