Cold season
It's that time of year. The sun shines and it's freezing outside. Since the last three winters have been miserable I picked up a Paris-Dakar shearling jacket a while back from an online auction, and the local tailor patched up a small scratch really nice. Sweater is some swedish army surplus. The shoulder bag is also mid century surplus, mainly used because my brick of a phone barely fits in my pocket. Genuine ray-ban aviators for about 3€ from the local watering hole. Maybe the shearling jacket is a tiny bit big for me (i'm 6'3") but it keeps me nice and toasty. Not in the image are the khaki chinos and Ecco Irving shoes.

Sometimes All You Need Is Love
Sometimes when you are going through things, or maybe it’s just a rough day, in fact maybe you need to feel needed. When you have pets especially dogs; ( not too sure about cats), there is nothing better than their unconditional love. They are waiting every morning for me to get up so they can climb in my lap and let me know that they love me. I use to think it was just because they wanted to eat, but I found out that they just wanted to be near us and when we are away from them they miss us so much. And the best part is they love us equally. When it comes to them they do not favor me over my wife or vice versus. They always bring laugher and joy to this house. And especially when you have a person that is going through things emotionally and physically like with disabilities, they so so much love and compassion. With me working and my wire at home on disability, I know before we had them she had moments of depression but having them, has brought her so much joy and happiness.

Floof ploof! 😍
Anyone buy anything from Coofandy?
I stumbled across this brand on Amazon and I'll start by saying that they're CLEARLY a cheap Chinese brand and some poor children are working their fingers bloody in a sweatshop to make this stuff. I get that. Problem is I really like a LOT of the stuff they have to offer and I've ordered several things for the purpose of experimentation and finding out what I like in person and what looks good on me, what combinations I can make, etc. As you can tell from my profile, I'm new to the scene so I'm still figuring things out and spending $100 per shit will take me forever to do said experimenting. With Coofandy, I can get 4 or 5 shirts for that price. Hell I even bought a linen suit from them as well as a couple of sport jackets. Anyway, I'm trying to find out if anyone else has any experience with them and knows about the fabric/build quality and longevity of the garments they sell. So far, they seem almost too good to be true, but maybe I just don't have a discerning eye? Appreciate the help in advance!

It is expensive to buy cheap. Ali/Temu/etc. can be hit and miss. That being said, I do love the "Outdoor" safari style shirts i bought off ali but they aren't exactly cheap. 🤣 Brand names tend to be random.
Tomorrow's driving outfit
Still blazing hot here, so nothing fancy. Just rocking the Navy and White, with blue suede chukkas.

Nice outfit. White is a coffee or ketchup stain magnet for me though 🙂
The Holy Grail of Denim Jackets
Another thrift store score. Not my size, but should be able to make quite a few bucks off this one. Found an XL RRL Ralph Lauren first generation Denim chore jacket with the tan corduroy collar. In excellent shape with only very minor wear at the hem, which apparently actually makes them more favorable to buyers. Guess they prefer the already lived in look. May start looking for one of these for myself, its made exceptionally well.
