I just got a new car yesterday. It seems like an easy process but I’m notorious for making simple processes difficult. Long story short, I decided to sell my old Tesla to CarMax and after they told me everything was good and gave me a price, the title had some old writing on the back they didn’t like. Initially the manager of the business center there said and I quote “well we aren’t willing to work with him unless he buys a car from us” while ironically over her head is a sign that says “we will buy your car, even if you don’t buy ours!” Instead of blowing up on them (which I really wanted to do) I kept it cool and pulled her to the side and came up with a solution to the problem. In a nut shell, after multiple trips between CarMax, the DMV and being at their dealership for over 8 hours with my children I am happy to announce that I have my new ride (which I love) and all is well!
