I think everyone is having issues gaining new GC students. GU has done a lot to fix the testing process. A lot of people don’t want to test because it is not the norm in BJJ. Second most people want to spar off the bat. Yes everyone not just the young. People want a workout. More people want sport and a recreational activity over self defense in BJJ. Most schools do both sport and self defense for beginners.
