We’re Hernando & Amanda. We’re Jiu-Jitsu black belts, school owners, and mentors who’ve been in the trenches — building, struggling, questioning, adjusting, and growing. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to mentor dozens of Jiu-Jitsu school owners, walking alongside them through challenges around leadership, retention, systems, and sustainability. Those conversations — the honest ones — are what ultimately led us to launch this platform. Our own school has grown to over 300 students, but it didn’t happen because we “figured it out” early. We’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way: - Leadership mistakes - Communication breakdowns - System gaps - Burnout seasons - Decisions we’d absolutely do differently now - And that’s exactly why this community exists. Our heart is to help you avoid the mistakes we had to learn the hard way, shorten your learning curve, and build something that’s sustainable — for your school, your team, and your family.
