From the Familiar to the New — Trusting God in Transitions
One thing we keep seeing in Scripture is that God rarely moves people into the new all at once. He leads them out…then He teaches them how to trust Him without what they used to rely on. Transitions are uncomfortable not because they’re wrong but because they remove what’s familiar. Israel had freedom… but still longed for Egypt. Not because Egypt was good but because it was known. Sometimes the hardest part of transition isn’t the unknown; it’s resisting the pull to return to what feels familiar when faith feels uncomfortable. God doesn’t just move us geographically or circumstantially. He’s forming dependence, identity, and trust in the process. Reflection for us this week: - Where do I feel tempted to go back simply because it’s familiar? - What might God be teaching me to trust Him with in this season? - What old pattern, habit, or mindset no longer fits where God is leading me? The scriptural reference is the entire book of Exodus truly, where we can see the idea of moving from familiar to new was the theme in Moses journey, and the Israelites journey time and time again. If you have never read the story, it's a worthy read. “You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” — Exodus 19:4 What’s one familiar thing God may be asking you to release in this season; even if you don’t fully understand what’s next yet? You don’t have to share details. One word is enough. Let’s reflect together!

What’s ONE Plant-Based Swap That Changed the Game for You?
So many people think going plant-based means giving up flavor, comfort, or their favorite foods! It DOES NOT! To start, it’s usually one swap that opens the door to a whole new way of eating. I think when we think of getting started, shrinking what that looks like to make it palatable is necessary. 3 tips to getting started are to, check your mindset, have a practical goal, and a practical plan, regardless how simple or small. EXAMPLE: Mindset: Being healthy and eating healthy foods, supports not only my body, but my brain and ability to thrive Practical goal: Reduce mucus in my body that causes inflammation Practical plan: Swap dairy for plant based alternatives What’s one plant-based swap you’ve made that surprised you with how easy or delicious it was? To kick it off, here are a few ideas your answer could help someone else with: - Replacing heavy cream with coconut cream for richness - Swapping ground beef for seasoned lentils or walnut “meat” - Using chia or flax eggs in baking - Choosing oat milk for the creamiest coffee or smoothies - Making cashew-based Alfredo instead of dairy - Trying jackfruit for pulled “pork” texture 👇🏾 Your turn:Drop your favorite swap + how you like to use it.Someone in here needs that tip today!

🛡️ This Week’s Devotion: Standing Firm in Spiritual Warfare
This week, we dove into the reality of spiritual warfare and how God equips us to stand strong. The truth is, we’re not just facing physical or emotional challenges—there’s a spiritual battle happening behind the scenes. But the good news? God gives us armor to protect ourselves and walk in victory: Primary Scripture: Ephesians 6:10–18 — The Armor of God Story Focus: David & Goliath — 1 Samuel 17 - Belt of Truth – Ground yourself in God’s Word. - Breastplate of Righteousness – Guard your heart from guilt and shame. - Shoes of Peace – Stand firm without reacting in fear or anger. - Shield of Faith – Block doubt and discouragement. - Helmet of Salvation – Protect your mind and identity in Christ. - Sword of the Spirit – Use God’s Word as your offensive weapon. - Prayer – Stay connected to your power source. Spiritual attacks often show up in our thoughts, emotions, or relationships—but when we put on God’s armor and stay grounded in Him, we can face every challenge with confidence. 💬 Let’s Share: What’s one area of your life where you’ve noticed spiritual attacks lately, and which piece of God’s armor can help you stand firm in that situation? Drop your thoughts below so we can encourage each other!

The one area of my life where I constantly notice spiritual attacks is my time. Not enough time in the day to review bills, talk to everyone, rest, go to church, spend time with family and friends. I’m working on smaller intentional moments vs overthinking that I have to spread myself to thin. 1 min text, prayer, photo can also give the same reward if done consistently, if not God tell me now lol, I’m trying
Let’s get to know each other!
