Do your kids use colouring to switch off after football?
Hi everyone, My son is a young goalkeeper who absolutely loves football, but like many kids, sometimes he also needs a way to switch off, relax and reset mentally after training and matches. Over time I noticed that besides football, two things always helped him relax colouring and dogs 😊 That’s what gave me the idea to create a football-themed colouring book full of dogs with different team roles like goalkeeper, coach, manager, captain and more ⚽🐶 The goal was simply to create something calming, creative and fun for young football fans away from screens. I’d genuinely love to know what other parents and coaches think about this idea. Do you think children involved in football would enjoy something like this? If anyone would like to have a look at the full book, here’s more information: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GX5S3SZW

Every single word matters.
Kids are always listening. ⚽💭 In grassroots football, every cheer, every word, every gesture leaves a mark. Your support can give them confidence or take it away. Choose kindness. Choose patience. Choose love. ❤️ Because the way we guide them today will shape the players – and people – they become tomorrow. 🌱 - My mission is to educate adults about the mental health of children playing football so if you want more videos like this please follow me on TikTok: @bemypower3

I Thought I Was Helping…
I only realized after a few years… It wasn’t my child playing the game — it was my own unfinished ambitions chasing the ball. I compared. I pressured. I corrected. When all I really needed to do was sit on the sideline — and just cheer. Today, I wish I could transfer from a team like Daddream Athletic to Childream United. From Trophyrush Rovers to Joyfirst FC. From shouting — to trusting. From pressure — to passion. 💬 If your child could choose… which of these teams would they really want to play for?

1 Goal In. 100 Words of Blame Out. Welcome to Grassroots Football.
- Parents cheer for the striker who scores 1 out of 8. But the keeper who stops 7 out of 8 is ‘not good enough’. This isn’t about football. This is about the weight we put on the smallest shoulders. - Goalkeepers don’t just stop shots. They carry pressure. And when that pressure comes from the sidelines, not just the pitch, it’s not just unfair. It’s harmful.
