👋Hi, my name is Tomas Vargas
Hi my name is Tomas, but I go by Luis. I live in Orange County, NY the hudson valley area and I plan on making $5,000 to $10,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1.  Learn how to operate a successful business 2.  Learn how to scale in the future w/ changes 3. Learn how to hire employees for opportunities to come. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Play Sunday men's league baseball 2.  Take my kids to their eventful activities 3.  Take naps when I get the chance Question: if anyone has already started their dispatching business, what has been the most challenging part of it?

Weather Variables when Booking Loads:
Ride to Memphis this weekend and there was some pretty harsh rain conditions through out the entire Arkansas corridor of I40 East. Torrential downpours. There were at least 5 Semi’s completely flipped over. Had me thinking about how the weather is a variable that we must consider when routing our drivers. I wonder if the dispatcher they used even considered it. Or, just put their driver in those horrible conditions without regard to them, their families or lives. We have a duty to be decent to one another as humans. We have a higher responsibility when we serve others to ensure we never put them into harms way. Let’s be better. Let’s do better. Because those we serve deserve it. So does your reputation, and your conscience.

Good morning sir, so how long have you've been in the dispatching business? And I 1000% agree on what you've said. I haven't got skin in the game, but as a trucker driver myself, I know safety is the number one thing on list.

@Joseph Jade yeah, I hear that. I'm a driver for etes, and even though im home daily, I hardly spend enough time with my little ones.. hard to balance work life and home life all together. I try to make the most out of it. But I feel that I need to do something for myself for at least a couple of yrs to get this ball rolling, and then I can be 1000% present.
Hey Dispatchers
👋🏾 Heyyyy! How’s it going? How far are you guys into your dispatching journey? Me? I’m still viewing the free course. I’ve watched the first 7 videos in the free course, completed the worksheets, saved some needed spreadsheets and worksheets from videos 1-7 and YouTube templates. Now, I’m ready to start watching the Truk AI videos. Let’s chat it up!

Hello to all. Its good to be in a group with like minded people. I have a question, I would like to find out, if most of you guys work full time? If so, are most of you peoples 9-5ers or different work times. Only reason im asking is because I start at 3am and sometimes finish at 1:30ish. So just trying to figure out if people struggle with a full time job and trying to start their Dispatch business at the same time.

Just a father of two trying to find a way to change my family course, and leave them with a generation of wealth. It's time to break this curse.
