I would like to be able to share wine thoughts and experiences from time to time, but it is hard without our Skool’s founder and fearless leader, @Marie Cheslik . Miss you boss! I was in NYC earlier this week and reached out to the one and only Aldo Sohm, famous sommelier and author. He was very kind to make 15 minutes for me to chat at his Aldo Sohm Wine bar, adjacent to Le Bernardin restaurant where he is wine director. He signed his brand new book “Wine Simple - Perfect Pairings”, which I had brought with me. If your wine education journey includes getting better at food & wine pairing, this is a must! Doffo vineyard in Temecula, CA has some great blends. Very beautiful grounds.The theme is Italian motorcycles and cowboy vibe.Good wines, excellent service, and the best wine I’ve had in this area which I normally don’t like.
