@Chris Affrunti thanks for clarifying this Chris as I always get these two concepts mixed up!
CSCS Practice Question #6
A maximal effort lasting 8 seconds is repeated several times with 90-second rest intervals. Which energy system is the primary contributor during the rest period? Answer in the poll, then explain your rationale below in the comments. I’ll follow up with my breakdown after enough people have responded. From Chapter 3: Bioenergetics of Exercise and Training

Our bodies use oxygen to restore ATP and PCr when it has been used up. In this case, the max effort exercise lasting 8 seconds used a significant amount of ATP. Therefore, the oxidative system will be the main contributor during the rest period.
CSCS Practice Question #5
During the lowering phase of a barbell bench press, which muscle action best describes the role of the pectoralis major? Answer in the poll, then explain your rationale below in the comments! I'll follow up with my breakdown of the question after enough people have responded. From Chapter 2: Biomechanics of Resistance Exercise

During the bench press, the pectoralis major is the main agonist muscle. Therefore, during the eccentric (i.e., lowering) phase of the bench press, this muscle would be stretching and mainly responsible for the controlled movement of the barbell towards the chest!
Daily CSCS Practice Question #4
An athlete completes a testing battery that includes the vertical jump, 1RM back squat, and 300-yard shuttle run. To minimize fatigue and maximize test validity, which order is most appropriate? Answer in the poll, then explain your rationale below in the comments! I'll follow up with my breakdown of the question after enough people have responded. From Chapter 12: Principles of Test Selection and Administration

The answer is B because we want the least fatiguing tests first!
