Got questions about anything related to Pulse Code, Chinese Medicine, or even the counseling world. Please post here. I will answer anything I can. Hopefully as this group grows, the body of knowledge will expand.
Becoming very interested in this intersection between mind and body we might call the subtle body, where energy gets stuck and held or freely flows. Always been such a purist in my CM practice but also like to stay open and always learning and changing. Still confused about the interface between "stuck trauma" and pain or other physical symptoms. I'm wondering if an injury that's slow to heal could be dragging on due to the emotional connection to something the person won't let go of... if, in your experience, something physical like that is always connected to emotional blockage or if sometimes it's just physical and like, maybe associated with nutritional (blood) deficiency or overall dryness and depletion? Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom!
@Justin Feasel thanks! I'm used to checking back in with the pulse after inserting a needle and have found it a reliable indicator as to whether to use more points or not, so makes sense that it will change instantly when ameliorating, or disturbing, circumstances are found. Fascinating stuff
