Start this buisness with me
Hey everyone — I’m looking for someone technical who wants to help me build an AI voice agent business using Vapi and Make.com because I’m dead serious about getting this off the ground and I know there’s real money in this. I’m Owais Hobbi, I’m an entrepreneur always chasing what’s next and not afraid to put in the hours, right now I run an Amazon FBA business, it doesn’t take up all my time but it’s taught me a ton about sourcing, logistics, branding, marketing, figuring out numbers and how to run stuff end-to-end, before that I was in gym sales and hit #1 nationwide at UFC FIT so I know how to hustle, talk to people, close deals, and I’m just the kind of person who learns fast and keeps going till I crack the problem. Since my FBA business doesn’t eat up all my time, I’m putting everything I’ve got into launching this AI voice agent service that answers phones and books appointments for service businesses, and I’m not trying to act like it’s some fancy futuristic invention, I just know there’s a massive gap because in my state alone I can count hundreds of businesses that could use this right now and basically nobody’s using AI for phone calls here yet, it’s wide open and I want to be first before someone else steps in and takes it. I’m handling all the business side — sales, marketing, talking to clients, branding, content, ops, the whole thing — but what I need is someone technical who can actually build the voice agent. So if you know how to work with Make.com (formerly Integromat), can integrate Vapi or similar voice AI stuff, are comfortable connecting APIs and stitching systems together, and you’re hungry as hell to build something real that solves a real problem and can blow up fast, then hit me up because equity’s on the table for the right person and I’m not looking for someone who just wants a side gig, I’m looking for someone who wants to build a real business with me. (anddd maybe we could start a course after 😂)

Also a 7 figure Amazon seller since 2009. My AI agency is the business I enjoy the most. Happy to connect.

I completed the form last week, is this still a thing? How can I help?
Connect Vapi To GoHighLevel In Minutes!
Vapi has just released a native integration into GoHighLevel, making it super easy to book appointments and create contacts with your AI Voice Agent. This is an effective way to build inbound AI receptionists that can answer questions, qualify leads, and schedule sales calls. It’s also a powerful method for creating outbound qualification systems that instantly call inbound leads to boost booking rates.

@Adlane Be needs to have email or phone number to create a contact record. Not both.
Voice AI with Multiple Languages
I am building out a Voice AI receptionist on Vapi where the client wants it to switch to Mandarin if the client starts speaking Mandarin or requests to continue in Mandarin. I am using the Eleven Labs multilingual v2 and the Assistant recognizes once someone starts speaking Mandarin, but it keeps repeating the same thing, over and over, no matter what is said to it - is there something else I need to do to get it to work like it does in english?

FYI, I switched to Google and set it to multilingual and it’s working as it should now.

@Haseeb Wajid I changed to using Google and Gemini and that made all the difference in the world. My new issue is getting her to get phone numbers correct. The transcript is actually written in mandarin so I’ll be having it translated into English before the call report is emailed to my client.
Vapi or Retell?
Hey guys I've been having a lot of success selling Voice AI and website widgets - so far we've built everything on Vapi using Make.com and High Level - but I keep seeing this Retell platform being mentioned and obviously @Brendan Jowett has training videos on both platforms - so my question is - which platform is "better"? One of my concerns is that a platform just ups and disappears one day, and I've got a hundred clients out of service all of a sudden. This is one reason I went with Vapi - they seem well established. But, I am also wanting to stay cutting edge, and I am wondering if I should maybe build out a few assistants on Retell. What do you guys who have used both platforms think?

@Thiago Ricci yes, I know what you mean. I have another system that I was going to do that with, but I think I will take a look at Retell - who knows, maybe I'll like it better than Vapi.
