Skool “Hobby” pricing $9/mo
For everyone who has wanted to start a group but have been put off by the price - Skool now is offering a $9/month Hobby price group. I had moved away from starting a community for my consulting clients (mostly because of the management side), but now am considering it again. How about yall? Anyone considering starting a “hobby” community?

Yea I’m planning 2-3 and see which on is best, wanting to have 2 or 1 ideally.

@Moira Dickinson yes, the cost is low so it opens up for that. Instead of having 3 communities, I’ll make a new yt channel for my love of metal music. So the 2 communities I have will be one in English and the other in Swedish. I want to share with both. So one is going to be more passive and the other more active. For people to join and take the knowledge in the passive one.
Instagram shouldn’t just be a place to post, it should be a place to pull
I don’t think we started our businesses to become content machines. Most of us probably just wanted freedom, whatever your version of freedom is (time, travel, family, nomadism) And somewhere along the way, we found that launching works, it brings attention, it brings money, but relying on it constantly… it could kind of becomes its own trap, doesn’t it? The goal wasn't to trade one hamster wheel for a slightly fancier hamster wheel, it’s wild how easy it is to slip into this routine at planning, scripting, recording, designing, posting just to stay present and sometimes it works but sometimes it just eats up our time and it is really frustrating Content doesn’t have to be a treadmill, it can be more intentional, and can actually help build stability, but that’s not always how we treat it Just sharing a thought I’ve been sitting with and I’d genuinely love to hear how others are approaching this What’s working for you? What’s not?

I don’t really get what you are asking here. Do you mean the headline, pull not push? Well you can dm followers of other accounts and pull them out from ig to your space. That’s one way.
Has this group gone rogue?
I feel like this is mostly spamming now, just people coming in to sell not share…just me?

@Kole Whitty you can’t turn the community off, just chose not to scroll down. You can turn off that people can send you DMs and change notification settings.
