When you hold your breath for longer than 30 seconds, you may experience: - A drop in your heart rate - Reduced blood flow to the limbs - Increase in red blood cells This set of responses is called the Mammalian Dive Response. We like to call it the Inner Dolphin. You awaken your inner dolphin by holding your breath and by immersing your face in cold water. Have you already completed the 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge?
