Eliminate “Burnout”…
We’re all meatheads here, but the truth is no matter how much we enjoy training, eventually we’re gonna have our peaks and valleys with the level of enthusiasm we have towards it. And if left unattended, this can eventually lead to a level of burnout that makes you fall out of love with training all together. My remedy for this is simple… Have some other hobbies in conjunction with lifting! For me it’s archery, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and competition barbecue. Some may argue that having multiple loves takes from the MAXIMUM you can get from one, but I find that being passionate about all of these hobbies keeps me from getting TOO hyper focused on one hobby (which makes those natural ebbs and flows of enthusiasm seem less extreme)… With that said, for the sake of getting to know more about you, what are some of the additional hobbies you’ve got?? Let me know in the comments or replying to this email…

Co-pastor a church, fishing, relearning chess, hanging with the dog and training us for a 5k trail run competitively.
Simple Yet EFFECTIVE Intensity Tactic
One of my FAVORITE ways to spice up any routine done with a pair of kettlebells (or dumbbells if that’s what you’ve got access to) is performing fundamental movements while loading the weights at different levels. Here’s what I mean. Doing a squat with one in the overhead position and the other in the rack, or one in the rack while the other’s in the anchor (at side)… This adds a demand on not just the primary movers of the exercise, but your core and upper back too! Ultimately letting you get more work done in the same time window that you do the exercise in…Big boost to training economy! Here’s a great example of how I do this wrapped into a killer total body “Man-Maker” routine!

Looks like an absolute puker Coach! I'll be doing this upon the conclusion of 30 Dayer.
Little Help???
Just rebooted 30 Day Kettlebell Warriors Challenge Monday. Much needed. One question on the shred nutrition end: the 1st meal to get the fat furnace going each day is before the workout. I get up at 3am each morning and get my workout and other routines before I have to be to work at 7a. What order should my nutrition be in this case? I have a shake post workout, then have like say, the steak, eggs, spinach, avocado about 2-3 hours later. To set my system up for best fat burning, is what I'm asking.
Little Help???
Rebooted 30 Day Shred from last fall. Had spinal issues that they determined I was to have surgery. Through a program my work gives us paid access to, I no longer have to have that surgery. Anyhow, diet question: Coach, you have us eating breakfast with say, steak and 2.scrambled eggs, spinach, 1/2 avocado. If I work out at 4am to get to work by 7am, would I have to eat that post workout, post protein shake? My question is, what order to best fuel the cat burning furnace?
