Shemot: The Reclaiming of the True-Self
Hello Everyone, Today I shared a word that inspired me. While also reflecting on the word, 'self-doubt'. This made me reflect on the Hebrew concept of Shemot (Names). Most people see a name as a social tag, but in its original integrity, your "Name" is your frequency. It is the sound of your original internal makeup before the world began to label you. 1. The Theology of the Root To reclaim your Name, you have to first reclaim your Root. We often suffer from self-doubt because we are trying to grow from soil that isn't ours. Wearing names or labels, like Employee, Mistake, Parent, or Failure. In the quest for self-discovery. I thought of Tadasana aka The Mountain Pose; as more than just a physical exercise. It is an internal somatic decodification. 2. Tadasana as the Bridge (The Vav) When we stand in the Mountain Pose. We are aligning the Vav; the vertical pillar that connects the high realities (Source) to the lower realities (the Soil of human experience). --The Feet (The Rooting): You are planting yourself firmly in your own land. This is where you shed the identities forced upon you. By rooting down, you are declaring, "I am not who they said I was. I am the one who stands here." --The Crown (The Ascension): As your feet root, your crown rises. The crown is the closest part of the physical body to the Source. This is where your Original Name resides. The version of you that is born exactly as you need to be. 3. Realigning with the Internal Makeup Self-doubt is simply the signal that your internal Pillar or Alignment is leaning. When we lean into the future or the past. We lose our verticality or uprightness. By practicing the Mountain Pose with the intention of Shemot, you are: 1.Grounding to release the noise of society's labels. 2. Elevating to reconnect with your original frequency. 3.Restoring your original integrity. This is who You are at your core; the frequency of your spirit. When you are vertically aligned and or solid in your internal foundation. You don't have to find your confidence. You are the bridge between the High and the Low. You are internally aligned and balanced.
