Hey All - Question - How do you find what videos to make?
Hey, just introducing myself! I've been on YouTube for about five years now. We have around 45,000 subscribers in the Amazon reselling space. I've done a mix of interviews and how-to videos, bringing in about three million views—not anything spectacular, just steady growth. I'm looking to improve both the quality and quantity of my content. I want to learn more about generating video ideas that drive viewership and engagement. From a monetization perspective, I'm also interested in what's working for others. Right now, we use a free lead magnet that leads to a paid upsell, and on the back end, we run a Skool community. We're in the process of refining that. Currently, we put out about one video a week, but my goal is to scale up to five videos a week. It's just me and a full-time video editor making it happen. Looking forward to learning from everyone here! On a side note, I'm really looking to understand how people approach finding the right content to create. I have a few processes myself that I'm happy to share, but I'm curious—how do others go about it? What's working for them? For me, it's all about idea generation and figuring out what drives engagement. I'd love to hear different approaches and see what’s been effective for others.
