The BEST type of coaching clients to target
I was chatting with my client Nick on our call last week… About how there’s often a best type of client to go after if you want a low-stress, high-impact coaching business. You see… There's this weird belief that highly successful people don't need coaching. That once you master ONE area of life, you've somehow mastered them all. But that's complete BS. Take David Goggins, for example. (he came up in our conversation…) Dude's an absolute BEAST when it comes to physical and mental toughness. He can run 100 miles without training. Push through insane levels of pain. Break world records. No question - he's a master of discipline and pushing limits. But his relationships? 3 failed marriages. And doesn't speak to his kids. This isn't a shot at Goggins. It's proof that being world-class in one area doesn't automatically translate to others. I see this ALL the time with my clients. * CEOs who crush it in business but can't maintain a relationship * Fitness models who look perfect but are deeply insecure * Rich entrepreneurs who can't connect with their kids And here's what's eye opening... These "successful" people often make the BEST coaching clients. Why? Because they already understand the value of investing in themselves. They know that having a guide beats figuring it out alone. And most importantly... They've felt the pain of being great at something while sucking at something else. That's why I tell my clients: Don't be afraid to target successful people for your coaching. Their success in one area doesn't mean they don't need help in others. In fact... It often means they'll be MORE open to getting help. Because they know what it takes to master something. And they're tired of the gap between where they excel... And where they struggle. Just something to think about :-) Let's go!
