📱 The Most Valuable Notification You'll Ever Send
Every day we're chasing more followers. More website visitors. More email subscribers. But what if the most valuable piece of digital real estate isn't on the internet at all? It's being saved in someone else's contacts. Think about what happens after someone saves your vCard. 📞 When you call, your name appears. 💬 When you text, they know exactly who it's from. 📧 When you email, you're no longer just another sender in their inbox. Instead of wondering, "Who is this?" They instantly recognize you. That's powerful. Social media platforms can change. Algorithms can change. Even websites come and go. But a saved contact stays on someone's phone until they choose to remove it. That's why I don't think the goal is getting someone to scan a QR code. The goal isn't even getting them to visit your Link-in-Bio. The real goal is earning a permanent place in their contacts. Because every future call, text, email, appointment reminder, follow-up, or CRM message starts with something that can't be bought... Recognition. And recognition builds trust. Do you have a proven way to get others to save your most important contact details saved to their device ? Let me know how you do it 👇

tap business cards. It automatically adds you to someone's contacts

This is usually done in 1 of 2 ways: 1. iPhone NameDropBuilt into newer iPhones. Two unlocked iPhones come close together, then each person chooses what contact info to share or receive. 2. NFC digital business card: A physical card, phone sticker, keychain, or QR code opens a digital contact page. The other person taps or scans, then saves the contact. For business use, NFC cards and QR digital business cards are commercial tools. Popular options include Popl, HiHello, Blinq, Mobilo, Linq, Dot, and Tapt. Best business setup: use both NFC + QR so it works across iPhone and Android.
👉 Would Your QR Code Work in a Stadium?
📱 Choosing the Right QR Code for the Situation Matters Not all QR codes are created equal. If you're meeting someone one-on-one at a networking event, coffee shop, meetup, or in-person conversation, a branded Logo QR Code is often the perfect choice. Your logo grabs attention, reinforces your brand, and creates a more memorable first impression. But what if you're promoting your community at a larger event? My friend @Nick Nebelsky is headed to a World Cup game, and if you've ever met Nick, you know he's a master promoter. He understands that when you're surrounded by thousands of people, visibility and simplicity matter. That's why a large, traditional black-and-white QR code is often the better choice for crowded environments. Why? Because high-contrast black-and-white QR codes are generally easier to scan from greater distances. The farther away your audience is, the more important scan reliability becomes. A simple rule: ✅ Close-range sharing = Logo QR Code ✅ Large crowds or long-distance scanning = Traditional Black & White QR Code The goal isn't just to look good. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to connect with your community, profile, or offer. Every extra bit of friction reduces the chances of someone taking action. 📸 Speaking of large-event QR codes... The image of Nick is AI generated, but it will work if you scan it from your desktop. Take a scan and see where it leads. 👀 Don't spoil it for everyone else—drop a comment with your first impression after you land there.👇

IRL Takeover Recap: Local SEO Skool with Vince Joyn 🚀
Last week, I jumped on a live call with Vince Joyn from Local SEO Skool—and we kept it real. Instead of just talking strategy… we BUILT something real. 👉 We created an IRL flyer designed to drive offline attention → QR scan → straight into his community. This is exactly what I’ve been preaching: Attention → Scan → Community Why this matters (especially for local businesses): Ranking in Google Business isn’t just “SEO”… It’s one of the most powerful lead sources you can have: 🔥 Inbound leads without paying for ads 📞 More calls, clicks, and direction requests ⭐ Instant trust from reviews + visibility 📍 Dominate your local area (you don’t need national reach) 💰 Higher conversion traffic (people are ready to buy) 🧲 Compounding visibility over time 📱 Mobile-first exposure right inside Google Maps 🚫 Less reliance on social media algorithms And here’s the opportunity right now: Vince’s Local SEO Skool is currently FREE to join… …but once he hits 100 members, it jumps to $9/month. If you want to rank in Google Maps, this is where you should be. Real strategies. Real conversations. People are actively working on the same goal. My move: 👉 Get in while it’s free 👉 Use simple IRL tactics (like flyers) to drive traffic 👉 Turn real-world attention into local visibility Online growth doesn’t start online. It starts IRL. — Jeff A replay of the call is in the comments.

This is really smart

@Jeff Baer that makes total sense to me. I used to be a professional photographer and would do a lot of door-to-door and in person sales and just honestly wore the shoe leather out on the first year in business going place to place getting clients it was hard going, but once I did get them, I had them for a while. I have lots of opportunities to extend my community that exist here online into the community because there’s an education element in coaching element to it. I will give some additional thinking to how I could really get that going. My husband doesn’t want me to be out in the community doing too many things, he’s the CEO of a company and we have a really big family plus his parents living here, so my time is really tight. My goal is to come up with one to many courses.

Real Talk: Have You Earned Affiliate Income from Skool Yet?
Quick pulse check 👇 Skool has an affiliate program built in. Recurring commissions. Simple, but very long link. No complicated funnels required. You can earn money by promoting Skool. You can earn money by sharing your favorite communities. But I’m curious where everyone actually stands. Have you earned affiliate income from Skool? Vote below — and be honest. This isn’t about flexing. It’s about clarity. Let’s see where the room really is. Because once you know the starting point…we can build from there. After you vote: If you hit Cha-ching → Where did it come from? (Bio link, QR code, DMs, YouTube, IRL, etc.) If not yet → What’s the biggest blocker? No flexing. No pressure. Just clarity on where we actually stand. Because once we see the gap… we can close it.
