Game changer..LiteLLM: An Open-Source Gateway for Unified LLM Access
We are big fans of Opensource. This is one of the reasons why. The world of AI development just got simpler with LiteLLM. This open-source project acts as a unified gateway for over 100 LLM APIs, allowing developers to interact with various providers like Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI using a single, OpenAI-style API format. LiteLLM reduces complexity, supports fallbacks and budgets, and offers real-time monitoring of API calls. It's like a "universal remote" for LLMs, enabling developers to switch models with minimal code changes. Since its launch, LiteLLM has gained traction, with its GitHub repo garnering over 20k stars. Companies like Netflix and Rocket Money have adopted it for smoother operations. LiteLLM also provides enterprise features such as cost governance and audit compliance. Its combination of Python SDK and Proxy Server makes it suitable for both small teams and large enterprises. With active community support, LiteLLM is poised to become a leading solution for unified LLM access. One of my favorite features: LiteLLM helps you control token and usage costs across platforms. It provides centralized cost tracking and real-time monitoring of API calls, allowing organizations to set monthly budgets for different teams or projects and monitor spending across all supported models. This helps prevent budget overruns and ensures efficient resource allocation. "LiteLLM's ability to handle multiple models and automate fallbacks is impressive." "As a developer, I appreciate how LiteLLM simplifies LLM integration. This will save me so much time!" "The cost analytics feature is a game-changer for enterprises. Managing LLM budgets just got easier." Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks and have a great day.

A Long Intro From An Old Newbie!
I am possibly different from many of you. I have glanced through some of the introductions and see many of you are young (very!). I honestly salute you 👋 go for it, you WILL succeed. I am old, well older! Although I had a 20 year career in ICT for a couple of major blue chip US and UK multi national corporations spanning everything (operations/programming/networking) culminating as a Global ICT Procurement Manager (stressful - don't do it! 🙃) I have lost touch (though not interest) in many of the innovations happening today. I left the rat race a long time ago and ran several successful businesses in the Pet Care industry - yes VERY different. Back then though I was a bit of an innovator and used the emerging Social Media platforms (Facebook & Twitter [I have been off these platforms for years]) to build the businesses. I spent the first 50 years in the country of my birth, England but now spend my time between the Island of Malta and in Portugal. Why am i here? That's what I am hoping to discover. I have a couple of main reasons. The first of which is to develop new skills to help in some outreach work I have long been planning. The second is to pick up on a point I have seen highlighted in AI videos on YouTube ( the ONLY platform I am currently on is YouTube (no, not even LinkedIn). The point is that everyone knows that AI is changing everything but few know how to use it for themselves (including me, so I must get back to the classroom!) I hope to use my past business experience alongside new found knowledge in AI gained here to help business owners to get to grips with the opportunities and not be left in the dust. In particular I would like to help more senior business owners with small to medium sized organisations to not get lost in the deluge of globalisation and homogenization. I wonder if I can! If not it will not be the fault of @Liam Ottley and his team - thank you, what an amazing service you are providing!

@Jason McEwan Hi Jason, thanks, I have been studying hard and enjoying the ride. Hope you are too!
Quiet on here, but busy behind the scenes 🚀
It’s been a little while since I posted and update... 📌 Been diving deeper into Make. Building out new automation flows across my portfolio. Each build helps refine my process and gives me more case studies to share with future clients. 📌 Started applying for jobs on Upwork - adding new builds to my profile as I go. Slowly stacking the portfolio with real-world examples that show what automation can do. 📌 On the hunt for more paid work. The goal to turn momentum into revenue. 📌 A friend’s helping me build a proper website. The focus will be automation as my main offering - simple, powerful solutions for small businesses. 📌 Another mate (runs a small biz) has agreed to let me run a full automation audit. Zero fluff, just seeing what can actually be improved. Real problems, real solutions. 📌 Planning a cold outreach campaign too but I want to launch it once the website’s live. Feel like the timing needs to be right, and a strong landing page will do a lot of heavy lifting. Building a business from the ground up isn’t glamorous. But every bit of progress adds up. And I’m starting to see the pieces come together. If you’re just getting started, or in the early stages like me - keep building, keep testing, and keep sharing. Opportunities tend to show up when you’re already moving. 🫶🏻

Thanks @Tim Weatherseed I am a little bit behind you but have the plan to do more or less the same as you so it is inspiring to me that you have shared. I have been working through the make academy this week as recommended in the Blueprint from @Liam Ottley and find it a little amusing that at its core it is very similar to tools I was using decades ago to automate IBM mainframe operating systems. :)
