Great to have you here! 👋🌱 Nature Inspired Living is a calm, open space for everyone who feels called to live in deeper connection with the natural world—whether you're just beginning to explore or already rooted in the journey. This community is all about practical wisdom, genuine exchange, and inspiration that translates into real, everyday life. No pressure, no perfectionism—just real people learning from nature and from each other. Here, we explore: 🌿 Growing food and working with the land 🥗 Natural, nourishing eating 🏡 Simple, conscious living 🔄 Sharing knowledge, harvests, and ideas 🐝 Observing and learning from the rhythms around us --- 👇 Now it's your turn! Please introduce yourself briefly in the comments below: Who are you? Where in the world are you? What does "nature inspired living" look like in your life right now? (A garden, a daily walk, a new habit, a curiosity—anything goes!) And if you like: 👉 Post a photo or GIF of something that connects you to nature—your plants, a favorite spot, a harvest, or simply the sky where you are. 🌄🌱🐝 You're welcome to jump right in or just read along quietly at first—both are perfectly fine. This is your space too. Welcome home @everyone. 💚

Hi, my name is Iskra, I live in Bulgaria. For several years, I lived with my ex-partner and our son in a cob house in a small village near waterfalls - my ex-partner is an eco-builder and artist, his house looks like a magical home. After we separated and we moved with my son to the city, my connection with nature is mainly walking my two dogs to the parks twice a day. Plus sourcing out locally produced food, whenever possible - making bread, yogurt, and preserving food.

@Emil Moldovan thank you for your kind words 🤗 Right now, I can share with you the website of Jason (my son’s father) who builds geodesic domes and finishes them in cob: www.domusnaturalis.net He builds in Bulgaria as well as in the UK. It’s late now, but I’ll share soon some resources about natural building in Bulgaria - we worked on a project with architects from the Bulgarian association for eco building.
Love as a Bridge to Your Own Truth
On Valentine’s Day, we often find ourselves looking outward. But what if we used this day to nurture the most important connection of all? Loving ourselves is more than just a feeling; it is a radical decision for our own integrity. It is the steadfast bridge that carries us even through the fog of the "in-between." It holds space for the "not-yet" and creates a realm where you no longer have to fight yourself. True self-care means listening closely to what the body is signaling. Where do you feel constriction, and where does your heart open up? These signals are the language of a force that calls us home to ourselves time and again. How do you speak to yourself when things are stormy outside? Often, we use words against ourselves to force ourselves into a mold. Yet the true power of words lies in finding a language that lifts you up instead of trying to correct you. In this special time in February, as we linger on the threshold of the new, this loving reconnection is the key. It creates the space where we feel safe enough to let go of the old images that no longer reflect who we are today. Love leads us away from self-optimization and toward self-acceptance. It is the foundation that gives us the strength to stop wanting to "repair" ourselves, and instead, to truly meet and embrace ourselves with understanding. Love is the basis for all genuine self-efficacy. It realigns the system and makes meaning in everyday life immediately tangible. Give yourself this moment of pause today. Feel the connection with yourself and trust that this is precisely where the clarity begins that truly sustains you. It is wonderful to experience how this inner order changes everything. Trust this connection to carry you while the new grows beneath the surface. What unfolds in your life when self-love is the foundation from which you truly make your mark?

Beautiful reflections and image! Sometimes self-acceptance comes before self-love. I know people (clients of mine) who found it hard to love themselves, and needed to first accept themselves.
🌿 Travel Plans: Romania via Germany – Interested in an Exchange Meetup?
Hello everyone! I'm planning a trip to Romania this August – and on the way, I'll also be stopping in Germany. Some wonderful people there have already expressed interest in organizing casual exchange meetups – and I'd be absolutely thrilled if others from this community felt called to join! 😊 Topics close to my heart that I'd love to explore in conversation: 🌱 Self-sufficiency & permaculture in practice 🥭 Processing tropical fruits – fermentation, fruit leather, natural preservation 🌍 Food security – strengthening local cycles 🏡 Moving abroad – my experiences in Paraguay 🌿 Healing plants & traditional knowledge And if you're curious: I'll be preparing a small selection of our fruit leather varieties to bring along – a chance to taste how local harvests can be transformed into something both delicious and shelf-stable! 🥭🍍 👉 If you'd be interested in a relaxed get-together – maybe with other like-minded folks in your area – feel free to reach out or drop a comment below! I'm currently gathering locations and potential dates, and would love to connect. Where could we meet? So far, conversations in german language are pointing toward locations in Bavaria like Geretsried / Wolfratshausen / Munich / Mienbach – but I'm open to suggestions! Who might be interested, or know someone who would be? 🌿 Looking forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Emil

🧭 Energetic Compass | Day 09 / 28 – Fire Horse Challenge ⭐
Theme: Deepen the Groove Your rhythm is set. Now, as the final week of the Wood Snake year begins, we deepen the groove. This is the phase where a new habit transforms from conscious effort into subconscious flow. The energy is no longer about starting the rhythm, but about embodying it so fully that it begins to sustain and propel you forward with its own gentle inertia. Your Compass Point for Today: EMBODIMENT Consistency becomes cadence. How does this rhythm feel in your body, mind, and energy as you move through your day? Quick Alignment (1-2 minutes): 1. Move into your established rhythm. Complete your small, repeated action. 2. Ask with sensing: "As I do this, where do I feel ease? Where do I feel resistance? Is the energy flowing or forcing?" 3. Adjust. Make one tiny, intuitive refinement to enhance the ease. This could mean doing it at a slightly different time, in a different place, or with a more mindful breath. This is the Snake’s patient cultivation and the Horse’s gathering power: creating a track so well-worn that movement becomes effortless, storing energy for the significant shift ahead. @Veronika Hübner @Iskra Petrova

I love this! I am going to check the previous weeks and notice what natural rhythms already exist.
🌱 Seeking Creative & Simple Ideas: Fruit Leather Sampling System
Hello everyone, I’m working on a little project and could really use your collective creativity and practical thinking. I’m preparing test strips of my various fruit leathers (different flavors, ingredients, textures) and I’m looking for a simple, elegant, and reusable way to present them so they stay fresh, are easy to access, and look inviting. The challenge: - The strips can be slightly sticky, so plain paper doesn’t work well. - Small resealable bags are fiddly to fill, open, and retrieve samples from. - I’d like something that feels tactile, intentional, and easy to handle. Inspiration / dream idea: Something between a stamp album, a plastic-sleeved trading card sheet, an Advent calendar, and a flat monthly pill organizer — where each sample has its own protected slot, can be labeled, and is easily removable without mess. What I’m asking: Have you seen or used a system like this? Do you have ideas for materials (food-safe sleeves, reusable pouches, thin containers)? Maybe you’ve crafted something similar for spices, tea samples, seed swaps, or art supplies? Even wild or simple ideas are welcome — sometimes the best solutions come from outside the expected box! This could be a fun little collaboration — if anyone feels inspired to brainstorm, sketch, or prototype together, I’m totally open. Thanks in advance for any sparks of inspiration! *#sampling #packagingideas #foodpresentation #communitybrainstorm #fruitleather #sustainability #simplesolutions*
