Blitzy af!! ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ
This was my first blitz, and I was flying solo after my partner needed to focus on her wellbeing but... I'd like to share my results. I don't know where or how that should be done, so I'll do it here and be happy for my goosey friends to just say, "Well done!" That's enough for me this time through. โœจ I began blitzing at #585 in Discovery Self Improvement and we moved 522 spots to #63. We grew by 90+ members in November. ๐Ÿ”ฅ I feel like that's pretty fucking awesome to be honest. Better even because it's not even about me or just my success, it came from so many lovely partnerships and holding each other up to shine. We were all lifted on account of our shared passions, authenticity and humanity. ๐Ÿ† I also met and became friends with some incredible people I now love with all of my heart. โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ Well done to all and know that no matter what you did in November, blitz or not, you deserve to feel awesome for showing up and for putting one foot in front of the other. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿš€โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒˆ

A small world we live in ๐ŸŒ
Yesterday we were talking about how @Rositsa Aleksandrova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and how I am born and live here since then. Then @Vasi Smith says: โ€œI was born in Sofia too. I also lived in โ€ฆโ€ And that โ€ฆ turned out to be the small little tiny town that I live in (7.6k population by Google) I still cannot believe it, We truly live in a small world ๐ŸŒŸ

10-Day, 10-Minute Challenge- Whoโ€™s In?!
Iโ€™m running this challenge in my group, and itโ€™s so much fun and so useful and inspiring that I wanted to share it here as well, with all you fellow Goosers! I chose to do 10 minutes of piano a day for my challenge, inspired by fellow Goose @Rositsa Aleksandrova And that GiF is exactly how I look when Iโ€™m practicing my piano!! In this Challenge, you get to pick one to two activities that you will add to your day, just for 10-20 minutes. You can start your 10-Day, 10-Minute Challenge on any day, whatever works best for your schedule. Activities can include anything that helps you to thrive in your lifeโ€ฆdance, walking, strength training, general exercise, journaling, art, yoga, planning your meals, singing, writing your book, reading, decluttering, something that brings you Joy, etc. Best not to overthink it, just pick one or two things youโ€™ve been meaning to do and add it to your day, just ten minutes of it. You can always add more time as you get used to doing it more. You can either comment on this post to share what youโ€™re working on and share updates, or you can start a new post of your own. Remember to comment on other peopleโ€™s 10-day challenges and support each other as we go! What do you think? Are you in?

@Amanda Read Thank you! Taichi and the taoist philosophy have profoundly influenced my look at life - I even designed personal transformation tools based in how we work with energy and intention in martial arts. I am really grateful - it helped me keep my balance through the most hectic periods of my work (in advertising and film production).

The KEY ingredient to deep healing and transformation?
When I was studying Contemplative Psychology, I wrote many, many papers. Hundreds probably. But one of them, I remember to this day. I studied a lot of different therapeutic modalities...psychoanalysis, Jungian dream analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and more. I was curious about what made therapy effective or not. This paper that I remember delved into this topic...what is the most effective kind of therapy for healing and transformation? I learned that any therapy can be quite effective for healing and transformation, as long as the therapist provides this one ingredient. What is this ingredient, you might be wondering? It's called Unconditional Positive Regard. It means the therapist holds a space full of empathy, compassion, and a loving regard towards their client, no matter what stories they hear, or what kind of guilt and shame the client might be holding. The beauty of Unconditional Positive Regard is that we are able to give it to ourselves as well! We don't need to wait for a therapist or friend or family member to hold that space for us, although it's wonderful to have a person like that in our lives. We can also give ourselves Unconditional Positive Regard. Like most other things, the more we practice Unconditional Positive Regard, the better we get at it! I've seen a few people move through my group and within weeks start a journey of transformation, with the slightest nudge...a one-on-one meeting, attending a few group support meetings, doing Hypno Health, reading my book. There are two things these folks had in common, as I reflect on this dynamic... 1.) A readiness for change and transformation, a feeling of commitment for doing whatever it takes to create change, as long as it felt right and good to them. 2.) A strong, internal sense of self-love and compassion for what they've been through and where they wanted to go, in other words... Unconditional Positive Regard for themselves!

I agree with you about the power of positive regard - this is the main ingredient in my own work, too. Itโ€™s aligned with my leading archetype - Nurturer, so Iโ€™ve followed my natural path ๐Ÿค— I chose Other because both for myself and others (clients or friends) I use all the above. Plus I record meditations for others (fit intended person or during a group call) and then listen to them myself. I enjoy their benefits as if someone else has recorded them ๐Ÿค—. Thank you for sharing and letting us learn more about you and what you do, Vasi @Vasi Smith ๐Ÿฅฐ
