Because people were asking me on YT about Mexico: Right now - Noon CST, 02.24.2026 - things are still very fluid, but the US military, working with the Mexican military, removed a certain Cartel boss from among the living...This has kicked off a massive series of violent acts throughout the country, trapping many US tourists in vacation cities, specifically Puerto Vallarta. There are - as of ~12:30 pm CST - scattered reports of cartel 'soldiers' "hunting" Americans -- to be clear, I cannot confirm anything like that. What has also come up, are now-open claims that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is deep in the pockets of the cartels, along with most of her party, along with Sheinbaum's implication that she might take some sort of action against Mexican politicians calling out those connections, as well as calling for direct US military invention to destroy the cartels.....That's the basic summary I have, right now. This is all very fresh and fluid, but I am keeping a weather eye on it, splitting my attention between this and Iran....At least I don't want for study work.......
