🔍 Which Creative Archetype Are You?
Can I ask you something? Do you ever feel like you're trying to force a creative routine that just doesn't fit how YOU actually create? Like you're following someone else's process and wondering why it feels so hard? Here's what I've learned — not everyone creates the same way. Your creativity has a personality. And when you understand it, everything gets easier. That's why I created the Creative Archetype Quiz 🎨 It's a free 5-minute quiz that helps you discover your unique creative style — your strengths, your challenges, and exactly how to channel your energy into consistent, joyful creative expression. There are 4 archetypes: 🟠 The Connector — You create for connection and shared experience 💜 The Seeker — You create through curiosity and exploration 🌕 The Creator — You create to bring bold ideas to life 🔥 The Fearless Phoenix — You create through transformation and emotional depth Which one sounds like you? 👀 👉 Take the free quiz here and find out Once you get your result, come back and drop your archetype below! 👇🏽 I want to see which archetypes are showing up most in our community — and it's such a beautiful way for us to get to know each other on a deeper level. 💖 — Meka

I got the "Fearless Phoenix", although I feel like I can be all 4 archetypes at times. So many of the questions I wish had the option of " all of the above" but I am excited to learn and see where this journey takes me.

🌅 Creative Recipe of the Week: Sunset Café Journal Moments 🌅
Creative Bestie… You know what I noticed? Somewhere along the way, we started believing that every moment has to be productive. Honey… what if your coffee didn’t have a job today? What if today’s only assignment was to slow down… breathe… and let your soul catch up? See, here’s the thing… Creativity doesn’t always show up when we’re rushing. Sometimes it quietly pulls up a chair, waits for us to settle in, and reminds us that beautiful things happen when we simply make room for them. That thought right there inspired this week’s recipe. 🧺 Ingredients: ☕ Warm sunset colors (pink, peach, mauve, gold, and cream) ☕ Scrapbook paper or vintage ephemera ☕ Black pen or fine liner ☕ Washi tape ☕ White gel pen ☕ Gold paint or gold leaf (optional) ☕ Flowers, leaves, or botanical images ☕ A cozy drink and a quiet moment ☕ Your favorite quote or affirmation 👩🏽‍🍳 Directions: 1. Create a soft sunset background using watercolors, diluted acrylics, or layered markers. 2. Layer torn paper, vintage book pages, and washi tape to build warmth and texture. 3. Add a cozy café scene, flowers, or botanical elements that make you feel peaceful. 4. Write an affirmation or intention directly onto the page. 5. Add one meaningful torn-paper note. 6. Highlight your page with white gel pen details and touches of gold. 7. Step back, sip something warm, and enjoy your little sunset moment. 🌿 Optional Reflection: What does slowing down look like for me today? How can I create more moments like this? ✨ Example Quote: “The present moment is filled with joy and happiness.” 🌸 Creative Garnish: Hide one tiny heart somewhere on your page. Months from now, when you flip back through your journal and find it, let it remind you that beauty is often hiding in the little moments we almost rush past. 🎨 This Week’s Creative Invitation: Create your own cozy-inspired journal page using whatever supplies you already have. Then share your page in the community. We’d love to see where it blooms! ☕🌅

@Sarah Thomas I love it!
It’s not procrastination… it’s fear. 🎨💜
My newest YouTube video is up, and this one is for anybody who keeps saying: “I’ll create later.” “I just need more time.” “I need to get motivated first.” “I’ll finish it when I’m in the mood.” But honey… sometimes it’s not procrastination. Sometimes it’s fear. Fear of messing it up. Fear of not liking what you make. Fear of finishing it and realizing it still doesn’t feel good enough. Fear of being seen. Fear of proving to yourself that you actually do care about creating again. In this video, I’m talking about why we avoid the creative thing we say we want to do — and how that avoidance is often our nervous system trying to protect us, not proof that we’re lazy or unmotivated. So before you beat yourself up for not creating, I want you to watch this. Because the goal is not to shame yourself into making something. The goal is to feel safe enough to begin again. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ohivjFHQhc Then come back and tell me: What creative project have you been avoiding — and do you think it’s really procrastination, or could it be fear? No judgment. We’re just being honest with ourselves over here. — Meka

Hi everyone I'm Tera, first and foremost I am a full-time mother of 3 beautiful energetic children but I am also a fiber artist specializing in handmade crochet pieces. Truly, I’m just a creative at heart who loves all things art. From yarn to canvas, I’m constantly making, designing, and exploring new craft projects. My mother-in-law shared this community with me because currently I have hit a creative block, really a mental block in general and want to find time to create again. I currently have a project that has taken me too long to complete and honestly lack the motivation to finish it.
