Feature or Benefit - Which one to use when writing?
I will tell you straight up - people don't buy because of features... they buy because of BENEFITS Remember that for the rest of your life.. or at least for the rest of your copywriting journey. Don't believe me? Tell me, would you buy a car just because it has 200 horsepower? you don't know anything about that car, just that it has 200 hp. That's what I see when people are selling their info products. They tell their features and hope for the best... Tell them the BENEFIT of that car, not the feature. Benefit Example: "You will get from point A to point B in comfortable seats, and you will not feel any vibration from the wheels... It's almost like flying." BUT we can make this even better by introducing LF8, which will upgrade that benefit into a DEEPER BENEFIT LF8 (Life-Force 8) 1. Survival, enjoyment of life, life extension. 2. Enjoyment of food and beverages. 3. Freedom from fear, pain, and danger. 4. Sexual companionship. 5. Comfortable living conditions. 6. To be superior, winning, keeping up with the Joneses. 7. Care and protection of loved ones. 8. Social approval. Here's how it would look LF8 + Benefit = Deeper benefit Simple right? IT IS! Deeper benefit example: Everyone will look at you when you get into that car, the crowd taking their phones from their pockets and ready for the engine start. It starts, and it is LOUD. Everybody cheers, screams, and you drive off like you own the world. (LF8 8. Social approval.)
