I just released a brand new Salsa Song Structure Listening Template inside the Fix Your Salsa Timing series 🎶 This template is designed to help dancers actively listen to salsa music and track where they are inside of a song in real time. Learn how to identify: • Intro • Verse • Montuno • Mambo • Coda • Musical transitions & energy changes The goal is to help you stop feeling lost in unfamiliar songs and start understanding the actual structure and story of salsa music 🔥 If you’ve ever wanted to: ✅ anticipate breaks ✅ understand song progression ✅ improve your musicality ✅ dance more harmoniously with the music ✅ understand ANY salsa song even if you’ve never heard it before… …this is for you. Go check out the new episode + downloadable listening template inside the classroom now 🎧🔥

Instead of listening for these parts in a song I hadn't heard before, I listened to the classic "El día de mi suerte"with Willie Colon. I can identify the intro and outro/coda very easily, but the rest seems like a repeating chorus (Cuando llegará el día de mi suerte...) in between verses. I don't know about any montuno or mambo sections. Are they present?
