Welcome to the room.
If you're new here, this is the free room for loan officers who want to run their year on a system instead of on hope. I run two things. Pro Lending Mortgage, where I originate loans every day, and Loan Officer Leadership, where I coach the producers who are done leaving their income up to chance. This community is the front door to all of it. Free, public, and worth your time. Inside, the Producer Captains and I drop the same frameworks I teach inside the paid Predictable Producer programs. The math. SWET. Database to Dollars. The Three Signature Asks. The Friday Five. Three things to do today: 1. Introduce yourself in the Welcome thread. Where you're based, why you're in the room, and one thing you hope to take from it. 2. Catch the latest Loan Officer Leadership Podcast episode. Listen at loanofficerleadership.com/podcast/ or watch on YouTube at youtube.com/@loanofficerleadership. New episode every Tuesday, sometimes Thursday. The room reacts to what drops each week. 3. Post your daily call number in the Wins thread by Friday. Doesn't matter if it's 5 or 50. The math doesn't care about your start. It cares that you start. You are going to get there anyway. The room is here so you get there faster, easier, with less headaches, and not alone by yourself. Welcome. Steve P.S. New podcast and YouTube drop every Tuesday. Drop your reactions in the room.

Hi i’m Taylor Allen. Based in Nashville, TN. Definitely looking to improve my communication skills and really position myself as a trustworthy LO that realtors feel confident in working with. I’m a veteran and live in a big veteran community/state and want to help Vets with VA loans as well.
Spike the ball :) share a win for the week
I’d love to hear any of your wins for the week. I’ll go first… Doesn’t matter how big or how small. Let’s celebrate progress. Spiking the ball… The last three days, 9 leads, 5 completed applications and one contract from the 9-leads already. Today’s just Wednesday. People are moving. We’ve got to keep asking for the business on every conversation. Also, another place we are winning is the trust in confidence of listing agents. Make sure that you’re doing your Tuesday. Updates throughout the transaction and asking for the business at the end of the call and that you would love to work with them and their clients in the future.

Winning is in the eye of the beholder. I am a new loan officer (45 days in) and have been struggling with call reluctance BAD. It’s like every insecurity I’ve ever had is surfacing when I press dial. But yesterday was able to push through that and called 6 agents(I know it’s not enough but it’s a win for me.) and while I didn’t get any meetings set, I got 3 to tell me to keep in touch, 1 explicit no and hangup, and 2 voicemails. The win for me is just knowing that the more calls and No’s I get, the closer I am to that first YES. I do have 1 agent I hit it off with a couple of weeks ago who did say yes, and we’re just trying to figure it out, but we have been working together to craft a first time home buyer webinar and that has been fun. Scripting and positioning myself to ask for the business has been a struggle. A few calls I feel like I came on a bit too strong in asking for the business. Not aggressively, just asking without really establishing any trust or relationship. I feel kind of lost in that area….finding that opportunity within the first initial call. So those for me, are wins.
