Red or Black
Do you wear red or black on Valentine's Day? Do you look forward to or do you dread this day. I get it! Valentine's Day can be a very stressful time and it's time we change that and declare Valentine's Day as a day of self-love! A day where you show yourself extra love by taking yourself out to your favorite restaurant, getting a massage, or reading your favorite book. And wear whatever you want to wear!

I'm wearing pink today! Heading to a neighboring island today for a change of scenery to watch a movie "Withering Heights". I enjoyed some book reading bed before getting the day started. Great way to start a Saturday, then headed outside in the sunshine to dig up and replants some raspberry plants to a sunnier location. Hope to get a great batch of red berries this summer!
You could fix anything with a Song
Yesterday, I saw Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway, and one of the lines in the musical was, “You could fix anything with a song.” I so… believe this to be true. What song, when you listen to it, can change your mood or shift you into a healing vibration? Let’s create the playlist here.

As someone who is spiritual, but not religious (SBNR - apparently this is a phrase now that I recently heard), the song "Halleluiah" by Pentatonix hits me in the soul every time I hear it.
Winter becomes the Season to Create What’s Next
Sparked by a conversation with @Taryn Laakso and inspired by the leadership program I just finished; we are in the season of Winter and nighttime where we turn inward. It is the necessary release before rebirth. In this darkness, we reconnect to ancestors, air, breath, and the quiet clarity of heart and mind. Here, mystery becomes wisdom, and wisdom becomes what we create next.

Here's a question to reflect on in this season of winter. Where might I need to bring more quiet into my creative process to allow the winter wisdom to whisper it's desires for the spring? Then as Spring approaches, what seed of your creativity wants to be planted? What ideas or energy drainers need to be weeded out in order to nurture that seed of creativity?
