Weekly Win: I Built a Whole Voice Agent This Week + TT Replay of Build
Hey fam. I’m sliding into your feed with my win of the week because this one deserves its own little victory dance. I built a fully working voice agent using ElevenLabs… and yeah. I got it running on a real website. Try it here! Here’s what I pulled off: • Created a custom voice in ElevenLabs that actually sounds natural and conversational• Set up real-time mode so the agent doesn’t pause like it’s buffering in 2008 • Hooked the whole thing up to a website, so it’s not just a demo. It lives online now • Added the essential call-center flow components I always talk about. greeting, acknowledgment, empathy when needed, willingness to assist, verification rules, clarification, resolution, and a clean closing • And I kept human-in-the-loop at the center. I controlled the tone, the logic, and the boundaries so it stays aligned with real-world standards This one felt good because I wasn’t just ā€œplaying with AI.ā€ I actually built something you could hand to a business and say, here, this works. That’s my win for the week. What about you? Drop yours below, even if it’s tiny. We celebrate every door cracked open in this HAUS. šŸ šŸ’œ

Parents in The HAUS: ChatGPT Now Has Parental Controls
Hey HAUS fam šŸ‘‹šŸ½ If you’ve got kids or teens using ChatGPT for homework, learning, or… you know, asking 700 random questions a day, this one’s for you. ChatGPT quietly rolled out Parental Controls, and it’s actually solid. Here’s how to turn it on: 1. Open your Settings They’ve moved a few things around recently, so make sure you’re in the updated menu. 2. Tap ā€œParental Controlsā€ This is where you manage how your child interacts with ChatGPT — safety levels, allowed content, and overall oversight. 3. Select ā€œAdd Family Memberā€ This lets you create a kid-friendly account with the right protections, while still letting them use AI for learning, studying, creativity, and fun. Why this matters Kids are curious by nature. This gives them a safe space to explore AI without you having to hover or worry. You get control. They get freedom. Win–win. Do y’all want an age-by-age guide on recommended settings? If so, comment GUIDE and I’ll put it together for the community.

Exclusive Perplexity Comet Invites Up for Grabs!
Hey AI Haus fam! šŸš€ If you’re always on the hunt for cutting-edge AI tools to level up your workflows, I’ve got something exciting for you. As you know, I’m a huge fan of Perplexity for research and content creation (it’s been a game-changer in my TikTok strategy and tool testing adventures). Well, I’ve got a handful of exclusive comment invites for Perplexity’s new feature, Comet – and I’m giving them away to the first FIVE people who comment below! Quick Scoop on Comet: What Is It and Why You’ll Love It Comet is Perplexity’s powerful AI agent designed to handle real-world tasks for you, going beyond just answering questions. Think of it as your personal AI sidekick that can: • Browse the web autonomously: It searches, summarizes, and pulls info from live sites without you lifting a finger. • Automate tasks: From researching trends and generating reports to competitive analysis or even scripting simple automations – it’s like having an agent that ā€œdoesā€ instead of just ā€œtells.ā€ • Integrate into your flow: Perfect for creators like us – I’ve used it for TikTok trend hunting, AI tool comparisons, and even brainstorming workshop ideas. It’s still in beta, so these invites give you early access to test and shape its future! Creative Use Cases to Spark Your Imagination Here are some fun, practical ways Comet can supercharge your AI game (especially if you’re into tools like Midjourney, Eventbrite, or social media management): • Optimize Midjourney prompts: Have Comet review your prompt, suggest adjustments for better results, and even submit it directly for image generation – saving you tons of trial-and-error time. • Create Eventbrite events: Let it draft event descriptions, set up ticketing details, and publish your workshops or meetups seamlessly (super handy for my ā€˜Build a Character with AI’ sessions!). • Handle social media responses: Use it to generate thoughtful replies to TikTok comments, analyze engagement patterns, or even draft posts for other platforms – keeping your community buzzing without the manual grind.

šŸŽ‰ WIN OF THE DAY: The AI with Whit Website Got Its First Visitor!
Hey HAUS fam Small win, big energy, my website www.aiwithwhit.com (built LIVE the other day with Lovable) just got its very first visitor. Is it perfect? Nah. Is it finished? Not even. Is it 90% there and officially real? Absolutely. And that’s the point I want to share with y’all today: Stop waiting for perfect. Start putting your work into the world. Momentum doesn’t come from polishing forever, it comes from launching, learning, tweaking, and letting your ideas breathe out loud. This email was the little reminder that even ā€œunfinishedā€ work can still attract eyes, spark curiosity, and open doors. If you’re sitting on something, a tool, a project, a page, an idea — let this be your sign to drop it anyway. Let the internet meet your in-progress self. Progress > perfection. Movement > overthinking. Launch the 90% version and fix the rest as you go. What’s something you could launch or share before it’s perfect? Drop it below, let’s cheer each other on.

Become a director, not just a doer ✨
Here’s your reminder for the week: You don’t have to do everything yourself, you just have to direct it. We hear a lot about ā€œlearning promptsā€ or ā€œmastering tools,ā€ but that’s still a Doer’s mindset. A Director, on the other hand, starts with vision, not perfection. You don’t need to know the perfect prompt, workflow, or formula. You just need to know what you want, and then direct AI (or other tools) to help you get there. šŸŽ„ How ā€œDirector Over Doerā€ Looks in Action šŸ’” 1. Direct AI to build the prompt with you. Instead of guessing what to ask, say: ā€œHere’s my idea. Can you help me turn this into a strong prompt?ā€ You’re no longer the Doer struggling to write perfect instructions — you’re the Director guiding a creative assistant. šŸ’¬ Example: ā€œI want to make a post about creative burnout but keep it positive. Help me build the prompt step-by-step.ā€ AI then becomes your writer’s room, not your replacement. šŸ’” 2. Direct workflows, not just tasks. You can use AI to map the whole process, not just execute a single piece. ā€œHelp me outline a system for repurposing my content every week.ā€ ā€œDraft a to-do list and order these tasks by priority.ā€ Directors don’t just create one scene, they oversee the whole production. šŸ’” 3. Direct your mindset. Being a Director means asking bigger questions: ā€œWhat do I actually want to say?ā€ ā€œWho am I creating this for?ā€ ā€œWhat would make this feel easy and joyful?ā€ When you direct with intention, the tools follow your energy, not the other way around. šŸ’” 4. Direct your life, not just your laptop. The ā€œDirector Over Doerā€ mindset spills beyond work. - Instead of doing your calendar, ask AI to help plan your week by energy levels. - Instead of doing your grocery list, ask it to design a meal plan around your goals. - Instead of doing your journaling, ask AI to coach you through it with reflective prompts. - You become the creative lead of your own life’s production. Where could you shift from Doer to Director this week?
